That’s my take as well, and why shouldn’t the state have to prove that someone wasn’t in fear of their life?

That’s the rule in every gun shooting instance, saving your own life or the life of another.

Imo, the judge is a criminal. It may not be law yet, but it damn well needs to be made law soon, if there’s going to be any respect for the rule of law.

Break your oath of office or break the boundaries set for your office or in any way attempt to mutate the meaning of The Constitution to fit your own whims and desires, go to prison.

You are correct. We elect people to make our law[s]. That judge should be ignored. And removed.

this is an elected judge. HOWEVER judges rarely get opposition because a lawyer does not run against one judge, a lawyer runs against that judge and ALL the other judges who want to protect their job security.
