My question is: What is the basis of anti-Semitism? What is this hatred of Jews? There’s no hatred of Italians, hatred of Chinese, etc. What is anti-Semitism all about? Can someone answer my question?

Though not about the Jewish pogroms, the recently released movie, The Promise, is an excellent film that focuses on the Armenian genocide that took place in Turkey in 1915.
Many (including the government of Turkey which denies the genocide) did not want this firm made, and now many are working hard to make sure people don’t go see it...which is why it is worth a viewing.
