They totally re-establish. And truth be told Trump is part of that norm. The norm of American politics is that we run in one direction for a while, realize that didn’t fix everything (because you can’t actually fix everything), so then we run the other way. Trump is the direct result of Obama not fix everything (or anything in his case). And Trump won’t fix everything, so we’ll flip around and go the other way.
