The dems would be nuts to run anyone but a minority for 2020. But I’m not sure a woman turns out the minority vote like a man would. I don’t think minority men trust minority women like they would a man, especially black men.

I'm sure the Leftists will gravitate to this new DC swamp animal, Kamala Harris.

She was very abusive and badgering to Attorney General Jeff Sessions a few weeks ago.  Because she has no sense of decorum, and no respect for Office, I have no doubt she will do anything to promote herself.  She may be a skilled lawyer, but she has no reverence for the Constitution and the rule of Law.

She has the sharp tongue of Ted Kennedy, the qualifications and experience of Barack Chauncy Gardiner Obama, and the ruthlessness and greed of Hillary Clinton.

A perfect candidate for Leftists. Also she is a woman of color -- the red color of privileged-victim, lust for power, and Bernie-Marxist-Leninism.

I wouldn't be surprised to hear of numerous scandals in her past which can be unearthed to defeat her.

More importantly, once Deplorables get a sniff of this skunk-in-pearls, they will be repulsed at the stench.

True, and that’s what has happened over the years in many white-majority cities. They elect an unqualified black as mayor, the city goes to hell, then they go back to electing whites (or at least non-blacks). Totally a guilt thing for urban whites. New York City was the best example. They went from their first black mayor, Dinkins, who literally allowed racial riots to go on for 3 days in Crown Heights...to Giuliani, the most conservative big-city mayor in this country’s recent history...and then to Bloomberg who, for all his faults, further cracked down on crime, until New York City became much safer than many states.

So I agree. You just can’t try to throw in an Obama clone and expect the same results. Just in the cities, the whites that voted for Obama thinking that he would bring racial peace (since he did promise that) will not be fooled again. And obviously many others will feel the same. But I do hope the Democrats keep trying with identity politics...and they will, given their leadership (Pelosi, Schumer, Ellison, and the radical running the DNC).
