WASHINGTON (CNN) - US military options for North Korea have recently been updated and are ready to be presented to President Donald Trump if Pyongyang conducts an underground nuclear or ballistic missile test that indicates the regime has made a significant progress towards developing a weapon that could attack the US, two US military officials told CNN.

National security adviser HR McMaster also confirmed publicly Wednesday that military options had been prepared.

"What we have to do is prepare all options because the President has made clear to us that he will not accept a nuclear power in North Korea and a threat that can target the United States and target the American population," McMaster said during remarks at a Washington think tank.

The SecDef should strongly advocate, and the POTUS should execute massive MOAB on all NORK missile and nuclear test facilities, along with DefCon One and massive defense and retaliation in the event Kim Jong Insane wishes to commit suicide.

If the “international community” doesn’t like it, eff them. We are still at war with North Korea.

And that means raining HELLFIRE on Kim Jong Insane’ threat to Seoul.

Which we can do now.

Later, not so much.

I also believe that Kissinger and Bush41 should share the blame for allowing the unchecked growth of China, who is now blocking any move to deal with N. Korea. They are the main problem. Left on their devices, N. Korea cannot do much. A generation of foreign policy experts were fed their dogma which is that, left alone, China is a benign country which won't do any harm.

Kissinger, Scowcroft, Brzezinski, and Bush41 are all in this camp. I remember Brzezinski's stupid comment at a Congressional hearing. Asked about rocket technology transfer to China(IIRC, it was about Loral scandal,) Brzezinski laughed and made comment to the effect that China invented a rocket one thousand years ago and they can do this without help." China did not invent a modern rocket. What they invented was a firecracker rocket. He just shrugged off Loral incident. I know this because I was watching C-SPAN broadcast of the hearing by accident. So this sort of people are what passes as foreign policy geniuses.

Yeah, I know. This is an internal policy recommendation, so it may not be announced on official news bulletin of DoD. So there is no way to know for sure.

The MOAB is delivered on a pallet dropped from a C-130. I suspect that North Korea has one of the strongest air defense systems in the world. We can be pretty well assured it isn’t as sophisticated as a Russian or Chinese system but you pretty much have to own the skies to fly in a C-130. I’d suggest locating and eliminating all radiation signatures and guidance structures first. Then send over a few nice, big drones to see if the coast is clear. Then send in the C-130’s.

We have contingency plans for every conceivable threat/power play in the world. What I always recall are both General Patton’s clear assessment of the Russian army, what would happen in all the countries the Soviet army marched through and took over as he was told to wait until the Russians arrived and marched through Berlin. Then Mac Arthur had the most clear assessment of both Stalin’s Soviet forces and the Mao’s Chinese during the Korean war. Our troops were fighting with one arm tied behind their back under Truman, and; MacArthur wanted to use Chiang Kai Shek’s military and block the ports plus bomb China to include nukes.

I bring this up as we have had the same problem for years. Things became political with Truman. Add Eisenhower became commander of NATO, and we were sending more troops to Europe while the Korean War raged on.

We have got to stop fooling around with these damn protracted wars. There is no nice way to kill a man.

The B2 bomber. And they will never know it came and went until the MOAB goes “boom!” The first series of MOABs should be delivered to the Norks batteries that are aimed at Seoul and SK.
