RUSH: Okay, time for the audio sound bites of Phil Donahue. I promised this yesterday. We want to get to it. Donahue was on CNNs Reliable Sources on Sunday with their media expert there, Little Brian Stelter. Theyre talking about Trumps presidency, and Stelter says, Okay, Phil, what do you see out there? Were five months into the Trump presidency. Youre not known for being a very conservative guy, Phil. What are your thoughts here? And have you spoken to Vladimir Posner lately? Hows he doing in Russia?
DONAHUE: The mainstream media is Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump. They havent drilled down on why is he president.
RUSH: What?
DONAHUE: How did this happen?
RUSH: What?
DONAHUE: And I think theyre gonna discover that well, I think its already revealed. These are angry people. These are, as we know now, white working-class people, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Michigan these are the people who make things. Or and they dont maybe they havent had a raise in eight years. The rumor is that their company is being sold. Their kids cant pay back their college loans. Sooner or later theyre gonna go kaboom. And they did, and kaboom expressed itself in the election of Donald Trump.
RUSH: Did you follow this? This is the mainstream media is Trump Trump Trump Trump. He thinks theyre being too supportive of Trump in the mainstream media. Theyre not being hard enough on Trump. The mainstream media hasnt drilled down on why he is president, how did it happen? So Phil embarks on a course of trying to tell us. And that is the white working class Christian racists got fed up with losing their jobs and their kids not being able to afford college and after a while it just went kaboom and the kaboom expressed itself in the election Donald Trump.
Now, dont be fooled. Donahue doesnt like you white working-class voters, even though you used to largely make up his TV show audience. He doesnt like you. He thinks youre bigots and racists and you just ought to learn to accept what life brings. Its part of equalizing society. So little Brian, dazzled here, little Brian, hes talking to Phil Donahue, all right? And hes dazzled. He says, I think what youre saying is, Phil, sure, theres people that represent Trumps point of view on TV, but were not seeing enough focus groups and enough interviews with normal Americans.
DONAHUE: Now theyre producing these this is fascinating me the other night at his rally, there were four or five really cute white girls. There are black people at those rallies but you gotta look for em, and theyre behind him, who are being produced. These little girls are taking his picture, he turns around, he faces them and theyre taking and then theyre showing.
STELTER: I thought that was a coincidence, huh?
DONAHUE: Oh, come on. I mean, this is a brilliant management of campaign
STELTER: It makes for a great spectacle.
RUSH: So Phil is trying to tell Brian what hes missing. That Trumps playing em like a fiddle. Hes got just the right number of black people behind him, but the only black people there are right behind him, and there arent that many. And these cute white girls, they come up and they act like Trumps the Beatles and they start taking pictures and he faces them and theyre taking, and theyre showing and little Brian got nervous, when Trump said little girls were showing, little Brian jumped in there, you dont think thats a coincidence? And Phil, oh, no, no, this is stage managed, all of this is brilliantly produced!
Which Brian ought to know they used to do this with Bill and Hillary Clinton constantly, including giving her the questions in a debate. Hello, Donna Brazile. And then finally Brian, still dazzled that hes got Phil Donahue there. Do you feel like the countrys ever gonna get over the election, Phil? Of course, the country largely has. It is the media and its deranged base which hasnt. But, anyway, the question: Do you think the countrys ever gonna get over the election? The president was tweeting about it again this morning about Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton. Are we stuck, Phil? Are we simply stuck? Are we never gonna get out of this?
DONAHUE: Theres no bodies in the street, and were not shooting each other yet. But, you know, imagine, compare him, compare Trump to Eisenhower. I mean, for example, this is my president, who I grew up with in the forties and the fifties. This is bewildering. And it shouldnt be. We got Donald Trump because we let it happen. We didnt vote, we were apathetic, and we looked up and think now, holy cow, we got a we got a I dont want to say the we got a p-u-s-s-y grabber for president. And we are appalled, we cant figure this out. And one of the reasons we cant figure it out is because elite media, as he would call it, failed us.
RUSH: (laughing) All right, Phil Donahue, everybody.
Which is, technically, "Hands, the Hands of Fate!" :D
Go suck an egg dip shit.

Michael: Torgo, have you seen Debbie?
Torgo: I thought YOU were Debbie.
I did notice the cute girls.
I thought Phil died...Hey, Marlo, don’t you have anything for Phil to do, like changing sheets at St. Jude’s?
The only time I watched Phil show was when he had a few naturists on. The family on was a friend of mine and the kids (especially the youngest) was funny. Great family....
Thank you
Phil Donahue is bound to be the end result of a supernaturally appointed confluence of genes and chromosomes to gift the world with such a MAN who always knows just what is wrong with everyone else.
Why it is our daily dose of JohnG45.
You may be thinking of Merv Griffin.
I yhought he was Dead & Buried!
I remember the first time I heard of Rush Limbaugh was on the Phil Donahue show. Rush came across very likable and Phil didn’t know what to do about him.
