Probably not, but if you do that you will have to consider the percentage of crimes by blacks also. The more crimes you commit the better the chance you end up on the wrong side of a cop’s bullet. So what’s your point?

Actually if you correct for the percentage of people by race who commit street crimes (those likely to involve confrontations with police as opposed to white collar/cybercrime) the fact of the matter is that police disproportionately kill white men, not black ones.

whites = 62.06%
about 4.8 times as many whites as blacks.
Crime statistics are a completely different story.

Did the article consider the ratio of black to white in the population? When liberals tell us more 'whites' are on welfare than blacks they NEVER consider percent of population either. Most of us here understand that as a percentage of population more blacks are being shot.
