A private school for Orthodox Jewish girls aged three to eight faces closure because pupils are not taught about homosexuality or gender reassignment.
The Vishnitz Girls School, in north London, does not give pupils “a full understanding of fundamental British values” according to a report by the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Schools (Ofsted).
The report claimed girls “are not taught explicitly about issues such as sexual orientation. This restricts pupils’ spiritual, moral, social and cultural development and does not promote equality of opportunity in ways that take account of differing lifestyles.”

Children under 8 should not be sexualized about any sex at all. Really, the biology about how babies are made, straightforward without mention of sexual feelings, is all they need. They can also learn that some men marry men and vice versa (since it is true now and their friends might have two moms etc). That is IT. Sexualizing little kids is abuse.
Scotus took the baker cake case. Will be interesting to see what they rule.

This is the work of the psychological movement which began under Freud and others. In my mind, introducing little children to sexual matters when their little bodies are devoid of sexual hormones and neutral, is nothing short of sexually grooming them and distorting the normal development of their little brains. Are there more pedophiles involved in education and government than any of us could possibly know?
I agree. And IMO, any person assisting a minor to do that, should be put in prison.
Folks will have varying opinions about when children need to be told the facts about procreation. IMO < it’s when they show an interest and ask you questions. There is a limit to this though. If they haven’t asked by a certain age, they should be informed.
I’m not certain that age is eight, but it’s not my place to say except with my own children.
We live in an age where society condemns itself > IMO < with so much focus on sex in the media and popular culture. Why should very young children need to be told about these things so early? It’s because they need to be informed way before it’s necessary, for protection from others.
Exploitation, false indoctrination, abuse and how to avoid it, these things make it necessary.
We have become Sodom and Gomorrah.

We totally agree. The article was about kids 8 and under. I don’t have any set age either. My youngest thinks it is totally normal to adopt an embryo from other people. Since that is her story! So when we read the How Babies Are Made story, I have to adjust it and say, some people come from the sperm of their dad etc, and some people come from.... and give some other choices. I am very pro third party reproduction, obviously. :)

Find fault, please, with my having adopted unwanted embryos sitting in the freezer of a fertility clinic. To me, they are potential people. Already created.

Adoption is recounted to us, approvingly, in so many Biblical narratives. Adoptive parents, especially those who teach by example those timeless values of self-sacrifice found in those narratives, are to be commended. Thanks for giving the rest of us in society cause for hope!
The story of Jesus himself displays the ability of a step-father, a non biological parent, to play a very positive role in His life. Jesus was in part nurtured and groomed to fulfill His destiny by his non-biological father.
Muslims are donating to Jews? Maybe Muslims will accept homosexuals.
If the UK insists on this in education, a majority of Orthodox Jews will move to Israel. Israel is projected to be 50% Orthodox by 2030. Wonder if Israel will withhold some of their impressive inventions and discoveries from UK.
