Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn has chosen to miss Armed Forces Day Celebrations so he can appear at Glastonbury Music Festival.
However, it has emerged that Mr. Corbyn, a lifelong anti-war campaigner, had been invited to speak at Armed Forces Day celebrations in Liverpool on Saturday – the nation’s annual show of gratitude to our soldiers, sailors, and airmen.
Army officer-turned-Tory MP Johnny Mercer told the Sun the diary decision revealed Mr. Corbyn’s wrong priorities.
He said: “He couldn’t give two hoots about those who earn and protect the freedoms he so readily abuses with his offensive views.”

A lot of Brits are not going to like or forget Corbyn for his snub of Armed Forces Day rituals. From my observation, they place a great deal of importance on public gestures of patriotism and respect, or the lack thereof. It remains a very high priority for the majority of the British, more there than over here. The actual sincerity of the gesture does not take on more significance than just performing the act itself. That’s how it appears. Same as what they expect from their Royals.
Got news for those purple-haired girls supporting Corbyn...in the future, when they’re being attacked in the streets by “youths” and there are no soldiers to protect them, it’ll be too late...

Maybe the releasing of “Dunkirk” soon will ignite something dormant in many English men.
Remind them of when they were proud men and women.
Foolish people believing that things that have been around for decades is somehow new. Oh and supposedly precious. I am so tired of stupidity coming from people that are supposedly educated when in reality they are nothing more than hopeless perpetual dreamers who ignore realities.

In today’s UK, all those Dunkirk Soldiers would have been Buried in France.
They’re the same crowd that Julian Assange talks about in his missive about the failing Democrat party.
So it’s more of an epitaph to a once great country than anything, I guess.

There was an old B&W Movie I saw on TCM about the British Civilians manning their own Boats to rescue the Soldiers in Dunkirk. The Fiance of the Main Characters Daughter was a Spitfire Pilot.
They just did what needed to be done in British fashion. It wasn’t Heroism, it was Duty. The Women awaited their return.
