The Senate Judiciary Committee has opened a probe into former Attorney General Loretta Lynch’s efforts to shape the FBI’s investigation into 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, the committee’s chairman announced Friday.
In a letter to Ms. Lynch, the committee asks her to detail the depths of her involvement in the FBI’s investigation, including whether she ever assured Clinton confidantes that the probe wouldn’t “push too deeply into the matter.

There are so many we need a committee on probes. Maybe we can get a task force to look into setting up a committee to coordinate the probes. If needed we can set up another layer of bureaucracy above the task force to ensure that nobody gets indicted and no changes get made. Each layer gets TV time for politicians and results in donation email opportunities for both sides, so there’s no end to the number of “sensible bureaucracy layers” we can create. Because holding the executive branch in check is a major function of congress and they take it seriously.

There is one part of the investigation that potentially has legs. The FBI had the memo, Comey admitted it played a part in his decision making. The Senate Committee investigation asks the named people if the FBI ever contacted them on the subject.
Someone needs to call CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC, Washington Post, and NYT to make sure they’re aware this is going on. Otherwise, I am sure they’ll never hear about it.

It’s easy to see through this. Some Dems also called for this only so they can show they are not only targeting this administration and President Trump and they can claim impartiality. In the meantime the GOP dopes will give her a pass and the Dems will kiss her fat arse.
Same here a whole lot of nothing coming from these clowns in the senate. The republicans will do nothing out of fear for being labeled racists and the democrats will present a united front. All in all a big nothing
You know, she’s dumb enough to start testifying, then realize they have the goods, then claim the 5th about halfway through...
They actually have evidence of Hillary’s crimes and of her destruction of evidence, pay to play - everything, yet they don’t touch her. This is a huge reason why Trump won. We are sick of these criminals getting away with obvious criminal behavior. Come on Sessions, get on with it. Lynch will just get up there and lie like a dog and the investigation will be dropped.
