Sanders was responding to a question about what average citizens can do to stop and fight the proposed Republican health care bill.
"We've got to stand up and fight back," Sanders said. "We've got to be involved in the political process in a way that we've never been before."
Sanders went on to criticize Republicans for their health care bill and the secrecy surrounding the drafting of it.
"So you have got to, Mary, act in an unprecedented way, think big, get involved in every way that you can," Sanders said. "So, Mary, stand up and fight back in every way that you can."

I personally am not greeting the secrecy with three cheers, however it seems to me to be necessary in this terribly rabid political environment. Lobbying schmobbying, this would result in merciless hounding.
DO publicize the bill a decent time before a vote, but get the dickens off the backs of the drafters.
Sanders supporters should be prepared to see the insides of their septic Dorkbamaholes.

Obama and Pelosi never even showed HIS plan to the Democrats, let alone the Republicans. They had to sign it before they were allowed to read it.

Or more mundanely, hound hound hound the opposition politicians to the point where they can’t even call their souls free. Which is why the GOP drafting has been going on in such “secrecy.” Which possibly isn’t ideal under all circumstances, but necessary under these. It won’t be a “pass the bill to find out what is in it” situation (yeah, the Democrats should talk), but it will be “let the kitchen serve up a bill for taste testing without raising a riot in it.”

Well one of his campaign volunteers found a way to “fight back” in an “unprecedented way” last week, with a gun attack on a group of Republican congressional representatives.
You would think that might inspire him to tone down his hate-filled rhetoric a little bit.
If things bloomed into full brute force combative ugliness, I’d say the gun has found a challenge in the suicide bomber.

The Republicans don't have the guts to fully repeal Obamacare, so they're going to "conservatize" it and then it'll get called Trumpcare.
