The race in South Carolina is disturbingly close, got little attention.
R up 3 with 79% in. Doesn’t seem like the rat can win that but it was closer than expected.
In English (and many other languages) say “America” or “American” anywhere in the world and people all assume you are referring to the USA and citizens thereof. That is an incontrovertible fact. I’ve yet to hear or see it ever used any other way, except when people try to make a purely “academic” point.
Yes, there are many other countries in the “Americas” as a geographic region of two continents, but everyone uses “American” and “America” to refer to land and citizens of the US of A.

RL, I respectfully disagree, sir. There is only one country on the planet with the word, “America” in its name and that would be.....THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and DON’T YOU EVER FORGET IT!
No one except born Americans are true Americans! The name of our country tells me so. When I have said that to South and Central Americans they stand there with their mouths agape and cannot respond. They are simply dumbfounded by the truth!

That sounds low for the action this race got. Montana was 369,000 votes.
CNN is having flashbacks to last November when another political candidate they predicted would win in a cakewalk went down the tubes. Waiting for word from the vote stealers on the ground in GA-6 if they can pull this election out before they announce results.
