Man 'wearing explosive belt' shot by police at Brussels Central stationBelgian officers have "neutralised" a person wearing an explosive belt at a major train station in Brussels, according to reports.
Police have confirmed that an "incident involving an individual" has taken place at Brussels Central - the country's busiest station - and say the situation is now under control.

The belt as well as his "story" was fake.
The man, identified only as J.B., was taken in for questioning. Prosecutors said he had a criminal record and a history of psychiatric problems.

There is a kind of fiery column at the center of this photo, people on Twitter are saying this is the instant of the explosion, so maybe it was something of a dud and burned brightly without a much bigger explosion (source: Daily Express):

I have never laughed as hard as the night I spent in the Brussels Train station, waiting to catch an early train. All the homeless folks come into the train station at night too stay warm. They were also mental patients.
It was a cat and mouse game between them and the security guards that was more like a pink panther or three stooges movie. There were vending machines that dispensed beer in the station and they drank and partied all night. The best part was their Grande Prix races with the luggage carts, engine sounds and all!

Lets not jump to conclusions because the killer The accused was heard to shout “Allahu Akbar”, before and after committing multiple murders.

Didn’t take me that long. If it wasn’t terrorism, then what the hell was it? He just puts on an explosive vest and goes for a leisurely walk every day or two?
