Jon Ossoff, the Democratic candidate in the GA-06 special congressional election, is still struggling to properly explain why he doesnt currently live in the district.
Republicans have attacked Ossoff for living outside of the district, which he says he does to support his fiancees career.
MSNBCs Stephanie Ruhle asked Ossoff why he doesnt just move to the district if it could potentially help him win.
Its very easy to solve where you live, Ruhle said. While people respect you across the board, your desire to support your fiancee with every point counting, why not just move?
Well, Steph, voters just arent asking me this question, Ossoff replied. Voters are asking me what Im going to do to improve our local economy.
And frankly, if this is the best argument my opponents have against me, Im feeling pretty good about the outcome tonight.
Ruhle didnt let him slip out of the question that easily.
But Jon, since the special election where you were at 48.1 [percent of the vote] things have only moved to 48.8 with 50 million bucks under your belt, she argued. Voters care about a lot. If you look back on this and things are that tight, wouldnt you say to yourself just get an apartment in the district?
Ossoff gave the same response, alleging that voters dont care whether or not he actually lives in the district.
Well if voters were raising that as a serious concern, Steph, maybe I would, he said. Its just not a major issue in the race.

Has anyone actually seen his “girlfriend”?
It kind of seems like the only thing people are talking about.
People care. People are asking the question. Over and over and over. And the Democrat tries to deflect by saying, "It's not an issue; no one ever asks me about it."
Uh-Huh.
She’s deflated right now.
Thats ok
Most of his voters dont live in the district either
Well, he’s never served the people of my district in any capacity at all actually. Never been on a school board, zoning board, city council, State government, nothing.
This scumbag has never spent a single day in his life representing the people of this district, yet lefties are all gung-ho to send him to represent us in the U.S Federal Government. Brilliant!
I hope Assoff loses tonight by a significant margin.
And I know nothing about the race, just how the media shills play their game.
I also predict that anything less than a 30 point Republican landslide will be spun as a "symbolic victory" by the Democrats. If Ossoff actually *does* manage to win, then it will be "The End of Conservatism as We Know It". Trump will be finished, Republicans will be ousted in every race from now until the end of time, and liberalism will be ascendant again.
Laws and Rules mean ZERO, ZIPPO, NADA to the RAT party.
While it is nice to live in your district, if it isn’t a rule then people need to shut up.
I actually don't disagree with this premise. Would love to see some smart people (Trump!) with new ideas (Trump!) who haven't been captured by the system (Trump!) and who are willing to make some changes to it (Trump!).
Just not Ossoff. Bad idea.
What’s the problem? He doesn’t live in the district, so what? His donors don’t live in the district and most of his voters probably don’t either. /s
the press says it is the most costly congressional race ever... how much did the republican spend?
in comparison to previous campaigns.
i would like to see those numbers.
This reporter was subsequently barred from Ossoff’s events LOL:

His girlfriend, a boy named Alice.
The $45 million he spent didn’t come from his district either... Hollywood and George Soros are trying to buy an election with the help of the corrupt MSM.
"You ain't frum around here, are ya boy?"
FUJO
Right along with his being rather flacid.....
