DIMS can’t block anything unless the Republicans allow them.

"But Democrats on the committee blocked the testimony, asserting they needed more time to prepare."
Do the Dems, as minority, have the power to force this delay or did the Republicans just cave and agree to give it to them?

Do the Dems, as minority, have the power to force this delay or did the Republicans just cave and agree to give it to them? You answered your own question.

The dog ate my homework, so I’m not prepared to ask questions right now. Give me an extension please.
To: Cheerio
I sure wish our Republicans in Congress would grow some balls because they certainly act like they have none.

I believe Page made a request to testify. Trying to figure out why they would stop him.

Yeah, it was more of a rhetorical question.

From the article:
But Democrats on the committee blocked the testimony, asserting they needed more time to prepare.

“Democrats Block Witnesses from Testifying in House Intel Probe”
Can anybody explain to me why Republicans are so weak and cowardly that they let the Democrats tell them what to do and are afraid to say anything about it?
To: Cheerio
How many democrats are there in the house? How many Republicans?
How can the democrats “block” any testimony? And who’s to stop the witness from testifying through the internet?

Thank you. The Dems are in the minority and if the republicans wanted to hear from Page or anyone else, the democrats couldn’t do a thing to block it. This cordiality thing is getting to be a little too much to stomach. Republicans better get a backbone or go home.
