Excellent move. This will end the speculation a memo or not. Might have been none and the set up with his friend who called the NYT might have been bogus. Something strange about the whole thing.

Or it might not say what Comey claims.

There are no memos. Comey kept referring to the “content of” not “the memos” and that content was shared verbally with his friend and the NYT. Put his friend on the stand. Put Lynch on the stand.

These Congressional cmte are nothing but grand standing for both sides. I guess getting a Grand Jury takes too much work. Ray Charles can see this whole thing is a joke

They will come away empty-handed as the memo never existed in the first place.

This will be interesting as the FBI claims to have the memos and McCabe has refused to release them to Senate Committee already as long as they are part of an ongoing investigation.

Comey's word on anything isn't credible as far as I'm concerned. I don't care if its his spoken word or written word... one isn't any more believable than the other.

Comey might have written a memo claiming Trump peed on his desk... what makes so credible just because he writes it down?
