Been busy all morning. Just getting around to the thread. Taped the Wallace BS. What I found odd was Wallace asking Sekulow if the President was under investigation. Sekulow says that the President is not under investigation and has received no notification that he is. Then Wallace responds that how can Sekulow know that the President is not under investigation?
What an a$$. Why ask Sekulow in the first place if you don't believe him or that he can't know the answer to that question?
Wallace missed the point entirely that Trump's tweet was not an attack on Rosenstein, but rather, a sarcastic response to the WP article claiming that he was being investigated for obstruction of justice.
I read the entire transcripts of the Watergate hearings and even though I was a commie at the time, when I finished I could not find anything Nixon had done that criminal.
If Trump had remained ‘Silent’ as a subject of a case should, then Sekulow could have spent the time on the News show explain the inappropriateness of the Comey/Mueller friendship and the insanity of the appoint of a ‘Special Council’ being appointed where there is no evidence of a crime. Instead Sekulow spent his time trying to defend Trump’s Tweet.
How many times did he hammer Comey during these interviews for leaking. He is simply setting the table for next week’s call for a recusal of Muleskinner.
Trump’s tweet only served to give the Press ammunition to say the President was being investigated. And who gave them that information? The President’s Tweet.
Yeah, he should be more like GW and Romney and not upset the media. How did that work out?
His tweet pointed out the obvious and went over the press. He needs to tweet more not less.
Of course Trump’s biggest problem dealing in tweets is his oft ambiguity which media may “interpret” (twist) to their hearts’ content.
His allies constantly tell him that if he must tweet (and twitter has some advantages to go straight to the people) then he needs an editor or at least a second thought before he hits “send”.

Aw come on. Sekulow done clarified four times this morning but I'll give it another try.
The WAPO comes out with an unknown source's assertion that Trump IS under investigation.
Now we all know that the fine, fine Comey told Trump, and all of America, that the FBI was NOT investigating Trump though Trump kept begging him to tell all of America, which the fine, fine Comey did not.
But Trump has a sense of humor and he puts out a tweet stating that he is being investigated for firing Comey by the guy who told him to fire Comey.
THIS was a joke people!!!! I thought it was funny. Trump was responding to the WAPO. The timing of these tweets matters too you know
Remember that time Trump told the Russians to find Hillary's 3,000 missing emails? THAT was a joke but liberals with no sense of humo9r, which they've never had, keep quoting it as if Trump really wanted Putin to come over rooting through Hillary's emails.

It was a day of Marco Rubio in honor of the Cuba talks going on. Not much else coming out of him.
Also, lots of Jay Sekulow, President Trump’s legal advisor and Sekulow hits it out of the park on every show.

Generally I agree with you, but the MSM and the GOPe would love to kill his tweets because they can’t filter them and must cover them verbatim.
