....Foreign entities are barred from providing a campaign with any “thing of value,” such as useful information on a political opponent. In cases that don’t involve a direct transfer of money, there must be proof that a campaign understood the information it exchanged with a foreign entity would be used for the illegal purpose of influencing an election, said Noble, one of the nation’s leading experts on campaign finance law....

This is a lengthy boring article, but I posted this article because of this one paragraph. A 'thing of value such as useful information'

that should cover the dossier that reportedly was on the Clinton server, and, that the FBI partly paid for

so, let's drop the pretense of investigating Trump and get on with investigating the DNC - the prior administration's involvement, and, let's throw McCain's involvement into the mix for good measure

Obama deliberately raised money from foreign sources, and nothing was done about it.

Bill Clinton spent eight long years sucking up to Irish Republican Army terrorists, repeatedly bringing Gerry Adams to the White House lending him respectablility and continuously touting the democratic viability of this murderous crime-fueled organization. -—

But when a Canadian PM went to the press and accused Donald trump of being a “sexual predator” a month before the election, she wasn’t providing Clinton with anything of value I guess.

Interesting to me that this is the second article I’ve read this morning that hints that it may be difficult to prove charges against Trump.

Is the press worm turning as they realize they better get out of this hole they’ve dug?

Fine but first the President has to order the AG to start bringing in members of Congress to be interrogated for their roll in PizzaGate, let's get them scared.

I think that it is time for the President to take off the gloves and FIGHT!

"This is a lengthy boring article"

You got that right. It does show, however, how desperate the Swamp is to find anything at all to stir up its base. In this case, it's using fake conversations, fake situations, fake facts, and fake stories in order to pretend that Trump or even a "pro Trump political group" is in bed with Russia. They are trying to make the point that if you and your second cousin take up a collection to make a MAGA sign, and someone who once read a Pravda news release puts a nickel in the pot, Trump is therefore guilty of collusion.
