Russian President Vladimir Putin reportedly said his country is willing to offer former FBI Director James Comey political asylum if he is prosecuted in the U.S. for leaking his memos on his private conversations with President Trump.
According to a translation by RT, a Russian-controlled television network, Putin said Comey's leaks put him "in a vulnerable position." He compared the former FBI director to NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden, who currently has asylum in Russia.
Comey, like Snowden, acted as an "activist," Putin said.

There are some aspects of Putin that I admire.
Putin has been playing the liberals the whole time. It’s easy, put your fingerprints on the election whether it manipulates or not. This causes a firestorm for the party that wins because the other will cry foul. Keep putting the heat on of saying you didn’t meddle in the election, while engaging Trump in friendly relations, then make liberal and conservative minds explode by offering Comey asylum. It’s all about creating chaos and will cause inaction on anything Russia does because one side will cry collusion while the other side is frozen with fear over being called for collusion. Genius I say and we are falling for it, liberals are the majority of that I might add.

Isn’t Snowden a whistleblower? If so, he’s protected under federal whistleblower laws.
If not, I don’t see why he should be arrested.

Does this mean that Comey is working for Putin?
Clinton and Podesta were laundering money thru a Russian Bank with Putin...Comey is one of them, so why wouldn’t Putin protect him. This offer makes me think Comey is also involved in the money laundering scheme found thru Podesta/Clinton probe, although not known at this time.
So maybe Comey, Podesta, Clinton, among others have something to hide as they twist this smoke screen toward President Trump, and Putin wants to help them do it!
What does Comey know that Putin doesn’t want known? Comey looks guilty doesn’t he?
