D*mn hard to obtain the necessary permits from the DC local government. Isn't going to do you much good have the permits elsewhere if you work on the Hill and are forced to leave you gun elsewhere while working. However there is a solution for this if they have the guts to push it through. Constitutionally Congress is in charge of DC. They devolved their power to the locals as "DC Home Rule" to try to appease the libs, under Nixon IIRC. DC used to be a nice city, but since the locals were allowed self rule it has devolved like Detroit. Congress has the authority to over rule any or all of the DC local government's regulations and policies, hard coded into the constitution. They can't give it up without a Constitutional amendment, which DC Home Rule is not. So Congress could pass a law allowing and requiring local compliance with open carry for just members, for members and staffers, for any other subset they choose or for the whole dang place. If they had the will to do it.
At least Tennessee allows no permit if you carry in your glove box in your car. Your car being an extension of your home property is the rationale.
I don’t know of too many suburban locations where living out of your car doesn’t get you a run through the NCIC databases and a vehicle search? Especially in the suburbs of Washington D.C..

I think we are on the verge of civil war. Conservatives better be ready to fight back. Among the first targets has to be media outlets like the NY Times, CNN, MSNBC, etc. They are destroying this country. Trump needs to get serious and fire Mueller, who is nothing but a crooked lying democrat who has no interest in getting to the truth, just destroying Trump. If Trumpt does not destroy him first he is a fool.
