AJC poll: Most Georgia 6th voters are very concerned about climate change
Atlanta Journal-Constitution ^ | 6/13/17 | Greg Bluestein

Two-thirds of voters in Georgia’s 6th District are very concerned or extremely concerned about climate change, according to an Atlanta Journal-Constitution poll conducted after Donald Trump’s decision to pull out from the Paris climate agreement.

The poll was conducted after President Donald Trump’s decision to abandon the 2015 pollution-cutting pact, a move that has sharply divided Democrat Jon Ossoff and Republican Karen Handel ahead of the June 20 runoff to represent the suburban Atlanta district.

Handel has praised Trump’s decision to abandon the pollution-cutting agreement aimed at slowing climate change, calling it a “very bad deal for America and Americans.” She said there are “clearly” changes in the climate, but didn’t say whether she believed they were caused by humans.

“Global Warming - Climate Change” world biggest hoax and scam.
Just like Obama causing Global Flooding by pissing in the ocean.
That much can humans contribute.
Elaborate scam to screw off taxpayers off their money!

Earth climate and changes are dependent on Sun’s and Sunspots activity supplying 99.99% of energy. Humans can do schit about it.
Volcano eruptions can produce much more distractions to climate than all humans and SUVs farting together.
CO2 is not poison, it is “food” for plants, which in turn produce Oxygen, that we need to breathe.
STOP the scam, jail all the scammers!!!
God bless and protect Mr. Trump!
MAGA!!!!

In the original special election Assoff received 92,673 votes. Since the Federal judge took it upon himself to change Georgia Law and re-open registration there have been 7000 new voters registered. That gives Assoff a total of 99,673 votes on the 20th. The Republican group of 147 candidates received over 100,000 votes in the original Special Election.

If we can get the same 100,000 or maybe a few more, we can win.

Read the article. The methodology for the poll is nowhere to be found. No info. No link to the info. Go figure.

I trust this poll 100% if it covered the University zip code areas and Athens.

Right. That’s why Price was this district by 10 points.

Heh, THAT’S good to hear!

It never surprised me at all that the Massachusetts political machine would soil the country with candidates like Kerry, Kennedy, Warren, et al (I DO live there) but I always wondered how a state like Georgia would elect a politician like Cynthia McKinney.

She was an unpleasant, ignorant, piece of work, and that is from someone accustomed to seeing unpleasant, ignorant, pieces of work as elected officials!

So what say you (from Georgia) regarding Handel’s chance of winning this election?

She was elected in a heavily black district because she was black......of course, there are also plenty of old white Democrats that still pull the party line....

In 2008 and 2012.... 95% of the black vote (nationwide) went to Obummer....

I have lived in this district for 35 years. Newt, Isakson, Price, et al. This polling is complete BS. I didn’t believe it in the election in November, and I don’t believe it now.

This type of thinking will continue until Republicans challenge the junk science, instead of responding, “The free market can stop global warming more efficiently.”

It’s going to be tight....off year special election....Turn-out is key.....

Handel doesn’t excite anyone.... Most I know are voting for her so Assoff doesn’t get in, not because of firm support for Handel....

The media here is pulling (AJC, WSB etc...) hard for Assoff....

The Assoff supporters I’ve seen are very excited and animated.....Multiole signs in there yards etc.....

It will be close....a lot of Northerners have moved into Newt’s old district....

Just 5 years ago I would have said no way but with the changing demographics....

I put Handel up by 2% election day.....

I can change the climate, really. It’s 3:30 pm EST here on The Jersey Shore and the temp is 94 and the humidity is at 84%. I got my central air conditioning going and the climate inside is nice and cool!
