Comey confesses to leaking
President Trump’s legal team may be prepared to show a trail of leaks to The New York Times by former FBI Director James Comey – dating back to at least March – in a pair of complaints set to be filed to the Justice Department inspector general and Senate Judiciary Committee, a source close to the team told Fox News.

An independent Fox News review of The New York Times’ reporting dating back to January reveals a host of stories sourced from top FBI and DOJ officials – or those privy to their conversations – that either paint Comey in a positive light or push a message he was unable to personally disclose.
Though Comey told the Senate Judiciary Committee on May 3 he’d never been — or directed another FBI official to be — an anonymous source for news reports about the Trump and Hillary Clinton investigations, the then-FBI chief did not deny orchestrating leaks using, for instance, an old friend who works at Columbia University, or providing the information to a wide enough group to ensure it would leak.
Comey is a drama queen. Show him to his safe space.
My bet is yes.
Comey is not nearly as bright as he thinks he is, but he is definitely smart enough not to admit to leaking without a good reason.
Possible reasons:
1. He knew there was already incontrovertible evidence that he leaked, so he avoided a second crime by admitting it.
2. He was deliberately drawing attention away from other leakers.
3. He was trying to avoid exposure of other leaks by him by admitting to one. Perhaps he has been a major leaker, perhaps just a few leaks.
#1 is the simplest answer, but that doesn’t mean that other explanations are not also true. If #2 is true, I’m inclined to believe there is someone else he is protecting, most likely because he was threatened. (I think he’s far too self-serving to protect someone out of “honor”.). Clinton? 0vomit? Those would be my top 2 guesses.

James Comey admitted to leaking a memo he says implicates Donald Trump in some nefarious things. He also admits destroying said memo. What is he not in jail?
The key word is "anonymous"....not whether they held a position.
If it wasn't a "prosecutable" leak, why didn't he just do it himself.
I think Trump discovered a leak much earlier and put a detail on Comey. THAT'S why the President called him in....to see if he would lie.
And indeed he did.
Too late, nothing Comey says after he admitted being a leaker is to be believed. He impeached himself. We have no idea what Comey has leaked and what he has not.
If someone in his position leaked sensitive information, they can’t be trusted with ANYTHING. End of story.
The man is simply not honorable, trustworthy or credible.

And in reference to a separate case, he acknowledged sending his infamous letter to lawmakers last fall announcing a revival of the Clinton email probe knowing full well what they'd do: “Did I know they were really going to leak it? Of course, I know how Congress works.”
Comey, who was fired by Trump in May, was open about at least one leak in testimony last Thursday.
He admitted to using an ex-U.S. attorney, later identified as Columbia University Prof. Daniel Richman, to leak to The Times the contents of alleged memos Comey wrote about his one-on-one interactions with Trump. He was not asked if he had ever used Richman on other occasions; however, Richman is mentioned in 151 results in a New York Times search dating back to 1993, with 11 of those articles also featuring Comey and six of them being authored by Michael S. Schmidt – who later wrote the “Comey memos” story which Comey told Congress he directed Richman to leak.

Trump needs to fire Mueller NOW. Sessions needs to Un-Recuse himself NOW over the FAKE Russian investigation. Such a time as this. Sessions is unafraid. Just watch.

Sessions is brilliant and sharp as a tack. And has integrity that very few people have in Washington. Which is why Seesions needs to Un-Recuse himself.
All President Trump needs to do is have a 1 hour talk with the American people from the Whitehouse in Primetime and lay out all the fabricated lies about Russian collusion with the American people which were started by the corrupt left. Trump can do it. He can do it in 30 minutes. Sessions Un=Recuse Noq, Mueller and all the Dem Operative Lawyers news to get fired NOW. Take their government issued laptops. STOP paying them via the tax payers for trying to take down a sitting President based on a false narrative. We the People will not allow our tax paying dollars to go to Mueller and his Dem Operatives, so they can make more money on our dime, have access to the government via OUR laptops which you know they were recently given. It needs to stop now. We are not going to pay their salaries to take down our President based on their false LIES.

How many times was the professor used to leak a story? The professor knew exactly who to call at the NYT in order to get the story out.

You forgot...Comey is, was and always has been...a traitor.
So if Comey made additional leaks, which is likely, he perjured himself before Congress. Therefore, the recipient of the leaks has direct evidence of that crime.
I get that newspapers are largely protected when publishing leaked information, but if holding evidence of perjury, the leakee has a moral obligation to come forward with it and the Government has every right to demand that evidence given probable cause. Since the perjury crime is unrelated to the original leaks, it goes beyond journalistic protections.
