Forbes is reporting that Jennifer Lawrence's survived her private jet performing an emergency landing after losing both its engines. Yikes!
JLaw's plane, which departed from her hometown of Louisville, Kentucky, lost one of its engines at 31,000 feet. The pilot decided to make an emergency landing in Buffalo, New York, but then things got even scarier when the second engine shut down.

Well. I suppose that TECHNICALLY if neither of the engines are working, then she's not destroying the planet with her private jet. It's really more of a "Private Glider" in that state and is probably OK with AlGore.
But's that's some hair-splitting. ;-)

Let me guess...Jennifer Lawrence is some super model who makes 20 times what the most experienced brain surgeons or heart surgeons make.
To: SoFloFreeper
Good work by the pilot. I hope she pays him a bonus.

She’s a liberal and a hypocrite, and I refuse to click on a “Cosmopolitan” link, but it would be a bit frightening to lose both engines on an aircraft. I suppose a lighter “Lear Jet” type of plane might be able to glide for a short way, perhaps more than a larger aircraft, but no one wants to test that...
