Especially “questions” that are prefaced by three minutes of an anti- Republican statement.

If Sessions in-recuses himself he can’t testify even on his own behalf — in a potential case where he was a VICTIM of illegal surveillance by Obama’s lackeys, for example.

If the reason that Sessions recused himself was to testify, can he “un recuse” himself after his testimony is concluded?
Perhaps this might be very good news!

Recommending Director Comeys firing would seem to be a violation of his recusal, and Attorney General Sessions needs to answer for that, Schumer said Monday.Only if he talks about Russia, you idiot...I suspect Jeff will hit heavily on Comey's fiasco of an investigation into the Hillary 'matter'...

That’s kinda like I’m thinking. Is this what Trump meant?
“Trump once again hinted that there were secret tapes, twice saying that he would discuss their existence in a very short period of time, though he also cryptically said that reporters will be disappointed with the answer.”

he needs the power to terminate the special council!
he CAN’T do that unless he un-recusses himself.
To: TexasFreeper2009
Why would he terminate the special counsel?
This "investigation" is going nowhere -- and everyone knows it. Letting the investigation run its course and having Trump come up smelling like roses is the best scenario by far.
Think of it this way ... How much better does Trump look now than he would have looked if he didn't give Comey the opportunity to make such an ass out of himself?

lol
you are “assuming” the special council will limit himself only to Russia related things.
I have NO SUCH reservation.
Remember Ken Star was investigating something COMPLETELY different when he took down Bill Clinton of Lewinsky

Trump to Sessions, Comey and Priebus...

The independent counsel statute expired in 1999 and was not re-authorized by Congress. The term “special counsel” used today describes a position that is not the same as what Ken Starr was doing.
