‘Brothers in arms’: The long friendship between Mueller and Comey
Washington Post ^ | 5-17-17 | Peter Holley

They’ve been described as law enforcement twins and “brothers in arms.” Once again, James Comey and Robert Mueller — two respected FBI veterans — have found themselves sharing the same high-profile headlines.

The two men’s working relationship can be traced back to at least December of 2003, when Comey joined Mueller in Washington after he became John Ashcroft’s deputy attorney general, according to a 2013 Washingtonian article about the two men’s long0standing relationship.

“He and Mueller spent many hours together, developing a close partnership — and watching together the disarray in the government over how to respond to the unfolding war on terror,” Washingtonian notes. “They shared a horror at the poor quality information infiltrating the upper reaches of government.”

How did Mueller get chosen and how can he be impartial? He needs to step aside.

In Washington that condition would exclude just about everybody since they are all bath house, golf course, bar, or some other brand of incestuous arse hole buddies.

How did this article make it into the compost?

From the get go I said Mueller was there to take down Trump and nothing else. THAT is where all of this is going. Next: Trump under oath.

Read, and understand how the Post can attempt to build a skyscraper out of a pile of crap.

And can anyone still not conclude that “journalist” marks one as not only rather dumb, but even more stupid than Dorkbama the Muslim eunuch and the Hillabeast.

Bezos was on “break” as he fell into third place.

Otherwise, the editors/controllers would have nipped this story in the bud.        /sarc.

Since Comey said the Russian thing is BS and Trump never was a target, time now for AG Session to Un-Recuse himself, and disband the special prosecuter since Comey set Trump up with his memo leak and the next day his life-PAL Meuller was appointed.

Remember how Scooter Libby was set up by Fitzgerald and Comey.

Scooter never ever got a pardon from Bush.
He was a Million dollar year DC superlawyer and wound up in jail when Richard Armatage was the source of Plame leak

A biased prosecutor can ruin your career. I wonder what a defrocked Libby does now to support his family?

First, the special counsel should be ended bc the reason it came to be was shown false.

Second, notwithstanding the above, Mueller should step aside due to his closeness and history with leaker-boy. At a minimum the idea of the appearance of bias should be discussed.

(1) A biased prosecutor can ruin not just your career, but your life.

(2) Libby's voting rights were restored in 2013 by Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell. Three years later, on November 3, 2016, the District of Columbia Court of Appeals granted Libby's petition for reinstatement to the D.C. Bar.

The Washington Post is baiting President Trump in an attempt to get him to fire Mueller.

"Bezos setting up the landmine narrative for the enemedia President Trump fires Mueller."

Maybe he's trying to inoculate an "in-side source" so Trump would have a hard time finding a way to fire him without starting a shit storm..(?)

P.S. — I would have hoped that Freepers of all people had learned a long time ago to ignore any of the sh!t that comes out of that Marxist political/propaganda tool known as the Washington Post.

“...hard time finding a way to fire him without starting a shit storm...”

yes - this is what I was getting at. I believe that Bezos is setting up a landmine with this “Brothers in Arms” article to discourage President Trump from firing Mueller who has to be fired because he is completely and thoroughly compromised.

I hope Bezos’ plan fails.

In a fair system, yeah. But we know they’re out to get Trump. Newt said he’s hiring some pretty bias individuals too.

Meuller should be investigated and charged! The Columbia law prof was the intermediary for the leaks. Maybe Meuller was in on the leaks from the beginning and Comey got him his new awesome gig. What a loathsome TRIO OF SHYSTERS. Conspiracy!
