Why should anyone think Mueller is not going to payback Trump for firing his best friend?

Interesting. Goes straight to Comey's credibility. sessions would want that to be done in open session.

You should read this: Proof That James Comey Misled the Senate Intelligence Committee by John Hinderaker

"In his written testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee, James Comey made a point of saying that he wrote memoranda documenting all of his conversations with Donald Trump, something he didn’t feel compelled to do regarding his (very few) conversations with Barack Obama. In his appearance before the committee, Comey broadened this claim to include President George W. Bush, under whom he served as Deputy Attorney General. The reason, he explained, was that Trump was the only one of the three presidents whom he considered untrustworthy."

In the article, I found this to be stunning:

"The one-on-one meeting with President Bush concerned the reauthorization of the Bush administration’s warrantless surveillance program, a drama in which Comey played a key role. As Deputy Attorney General, he refused to sign the reauthorization order on behalf of DOJ, and he was one of those who rushed to John Ashcroft’s hospital bedside."

"A sharp-eyed reader pointed out that, as it happens, Comey has left behind an account of that meeting with President Bush. It is recounted in Angler, a book-length attack on Dick Cheney by Barton Gellman. Comey was one of Gellman’s chief sources."

"Angler includes a description of Comey’s meeting with Bush that obviously came from Comey. It is strikingly similar to Comey’s description of his critical meeting with Donald Trump in his written Intelligence Committee testimony."

From Comey’s written testimony:

The President signaled the end of the briefing by thanking the group and telling them all that he wanted to speak to me alone. I stayed in my chair. As the participants started to leave the Oval Office, the Attorney General lingered by my chair, but the President thanked him and said he wanted to speak only with me. …When the door by the grandfather clock closed, and we were alone, the President began by saying, “I want to talk about Mike Flynn.”

From Angler:

Bush stood as the meeting ended, crossing behind Cheney’s chair. Comey moved in the opposite direction, on his way out. He had nearly reached the grandfather clock at the door when the president said, “Jim, can I talk to you for a minute?” … This time the vice president was not invited.

I think Trump sized up Comey correctly. He is a nutcase.

Hi,

I posted this at like 4:30 AM Pacific time, and then went back to sleep!

It’s now 7:00 AM Pacific as I am not in Sweet Home Alabama, but up the coast from you in Santa Barbara, California!

I have a week of business to attend to here.

BEAUTIFUL place.

It's the "honest government" myth, right up there with the "honest press" myth.

The presumption should be that Mueller is going to use his office to advance a political agenda and obtain all the revenge he can. at least that's the presumption and bias that I have.

BRAY - The House did an amazing job this week with the repeal of Dodd/Frank as did the Senate in exposing corrupt Comey. We are going to see a stabilization of the housing market as well as the small banking industry which should get a jolt of energy from less paperwork, taxes and regulation. It can now make decisions based on risk/reward rather on some regs made up in a basement in the swamp. This is another step for America away from Marxism and towards The Shining City on the Hill.

Not so fast on the Dodd/Frank issue - This horrible Dodd/Frank crap passed because the banks were getting away with packaging junk as bonds and not disclosing material facts. Tranches of horrible Mortgages - Mortgages given to people with FICO scores under 600 and NO down payments.

Next there were no prosecutions of these bankers - protected by both the Dems and Reps.

The housing market will not recover anytime soon - If interest rates go up your monthly house payment goes up and you do not qualify for a loan - unless you cheat and the mortgage lender repackages the load in trenches of bonds that are sold to cities like Detroit to cover their city employ retirement costs

Fox is firmly on the dark side now. Having Edwards on the panel made me “mildly nauseous.” The political class, Deep State, corporate elites, and MSM are doing everything possible to destroy Trump who is the greatest threat to the corruption and deception of the ruling class ever. Trump deserves major credit for even trying. He is the people’s champion.

At the moment, Rosenstein is supporting Trump and Sessions, quite well. Who knows where his true allegiencdes are. At his level of promotion (#2 in the FBI), all of these career government types are self-serving snakes.

As for "why Mueller?" maybe Rosenstein has judged him to be reliably fair in this case (not necessarily in general), or he may know that Meuller has a dirty history, and a possible way to get revenge on Mueller is to give him this assignment, hoping that Mueller disgraces himself with obvious partisan output.

Heads up. THIS WEEK will (in a rare display of balance) also feature Jay Sekulow in addition to Preet Bharara. Sekulow won’t take any guff. Hannity regular, and now on DjT’s legal team thank God.

Yep. I'll add that "nutcase" and "duplicitous backstabbing weasel" are not mutually exclusive.

Seeing as how Comey writes notes to file when he interacts with people he doesn;t trust, and considering news reports that he, McCabe, Rybicki and Baker don't trust Sessions, perhaps Comey has a memo to file to "prove" he expressed these "serious concerns" in such a way as to leave a suitable impression on the AG.

Maybe Sessions has notes on his meetings with Comey. There is no doubt that Comey uses these Memoranda for the Files to set in place his version of the truth (where he is always the hero fighting injustice and evil) to use as a weapon or club against his superiors. He is one sick puppy.

Chicken or egg? Where were the bundled junk bonds/mortgages come from? Fanny and Freddie wrapped their junk with their good mortgages and sold them.

People were making 70 million Freddy which had quotas for mortgages and allowed to throw underwriting out the window due to the Farm Act.

I thought Ronna McDaniel was very good on Fox. Then I turned it off to have peace of mind from all the Democratic lies. Their agenda is very clear, to bring down the President. People are unsure how to pray for our country, they’re so confused. I’m turning off anything that reinforces their total tantrum and meltdown against Trump. The Democrats are sick puppies and I have a lower opinion of anyone who buys into their sh##. Brain-dead zombie sheep.
