I feel sympathy for these people who were brought here underage by their parents, and this is the country they know.

That said, the birth tourism has to end. People literally come from other countries as birth tourists (like China) to have a baby that anchors them here. They have to end that program. It may take a Constitutional Amendment, though, and I don’t know if we can get it.

Why? People have migrated, immigrated, emigrated since the dawn of history. The test should be if the results of granting amnesty benefits the American people, not the recipients. The answer is no, since it acts as a magnet for more illegality, among many other things.

If private citizens want to fund them, they can send contributions to Mexico.

It doesn’t need an amendment, only a correct reading of the existing constitution.

The birth theory of citizenship was a perversion of the law.

It was to stop black slaves from being denied citizenship.
