Comey followed careful plan in leaking memos
The Hill ^ | June 10, 2017 | Katie Bo Williams

James Comey’s release of his memos to The New York Times was a carefully orchestrated act that appeared designed to shield him from any legal repercussions, whistleblower and ethics lawyers say.

While President Trump’s personal lawyer, Marc Kasowitz, is reportedly preparing a leak complaint against Comey, experts say the fight over Comey’s disclosures is more political than legal.

“It’s clear that Comey understood the legal principles [protecting disclosures],” said Stephen Kohn, a lawyer who specializes in whistleblower cases.

But, he said, “Trump’s lawyer was also smart because he’s filing these complaints in places that don’t mean anything. It’s public relations.”

Comey needed firing badly.

He should be prosecuted and thrown in jail for releasing classified information.

Well, maybe he needs to collect enough evidence to fight back later, when he can truly bury his enemies in air tight cases that they can’t wiggle out of, even with the press and his enemies helping them. He’s still trying to get his entrenched enemies, on both sides of the aisle and in every department, neutralized so he can govern. None of this will happen overnight. Let’s hope his health holds up as this ordeal continues. Draining a swamp that took decades to create will take years, if not, decades......

Comey should be facing criminal charges. He leaked a government document purposefully to have a Special Counsel appointed to bring down Trump.

Within hours of the NYT publishing the leaked information, Rod Rosenstein appointed Robert Mueller, a good friend of Comey’s, as Special Counsel. On June 6, 2017 Robert Mueller hired Andrew Weissmann.

Arthur Andersen Convicted - tens of thousands of people lost their jobs

Justices said the former Big Five accounting firm’s June 2002 conviction was improper. It said the jury instructions at trial were too vague and broad for jurors to determine correctly whether Andersen obstructed justice.

It seems obvious to me Comey’s leak was orchestrated to appoint a Special Counsel. Worse yet, the Mueller/Comey team is planning a Criminal Investigation that may already be underway. See and hear what McCabe said Wednesday to Senator Reed at the 2:53:50 - 2:54:10 mark:

http://www.redstate.com/sweetie15/2017/06/07/watch-live-senate-intel-hearings-wednesday-60717/

Paraphrasing for those not able to put in the time: Senator Reed: (to McCabe) You are not commenting on the conversations between you and Comey because the conversations between Trump and Comey are under Criminal Investigation or may be under Criminal Investigation, is that correct? McCabe answered yes.

Remember this hearing happened a day before Comey’s testimony.

Benedict Arnold Comey - Doing the job that patriotic Americans wouldn’t do

With duplicitous, seditious, traitorous bastards like Comey running America’s top law enforcement agency and
working inside the government to overthrow our president we don’t need to import any more foreign criminals.

We already have more than enough of our own home-grown right here.

Just as I was saying yesterday, Trump won’t fight back, never does.

While I suspect Trump would have loved to simply had Comey dragged off and shot, I suspect it was wiser to first fire him, and then start working the case for some sort of action against Comey (and his accomplices).

Are you in some alternate universe?

Did you not read that Comey, a lawyer and the head of the foremost investigative agency in the world, knew how to tiptoe along the gray line that would prevent him from legal jeopardy?

Or are you just a NeverTrumper?

Other Republicans might lie down and roll over, but that ain’t Trump’s style. Imagine the energy of a Jack Russell terrier, placed into a Rottweiler, and the tenacity of a bulldog.

Comey could find himself drawn, quartered, eviscerated, and hide left nailed to the wall as a warning to others.

Keep in mind that the “media” is literally owned by the deep state who is doing this dirty work against Trump. The media, and most of their “reporters” are operatives of holdover elements of the “intel community” as mouthpieces for propagand and distortion.

This IS the battle Trump is wisely following. It takes far too long, politically speaking, to pursue this in the “courts”. The “courts” are nearly completely suborned by the Left, and getting adjudication and “justice” is too expensive, both in money and in the political capital of the People— the People he pledged to serve, and the Constitution he swore to uphold.

Continuous kicking to the curb of lying journalists who are paid pimps for the leftist intel (can one say the “Resist” propagandists) assures a quick result. These people are already working on their next “meme”. The plan is to “wear down”. Kick em in the gonads— and move on is far smarter— get your agenda moving, all the while cleaning house. Many firings are coming at DOJ, State, and... FBI. The “rocket docket” of espionage (the E. District Federal Court in Alexandria, VA- the one that convicted Aldrich Ames, and the FBI’s Hansen) is going to be busy with these, and with McAulliffe (VA guv) the clinton bag man who bankrolled McCabe’s wife’s run for office with clinton/soros money.

President Trump has to turn the life of someone in the upper echelons of the coup into a living *ell NOW. They still feel empowered in their plans. Another factor of doing that is it will force Republicans who detest Deplorables and are not-too-covertly sympathetic with the bad guys to take a stand.

Comey, Loretta Lynch, and what about Nyland/SusanRice and regime change. The only way to stop the coup is charge them for their crimes.

Whether or not Comey is legally vulnerable, he was not loyal enough to say something like “Whoa there Mr. President, this subject is not entirely appropriate for us to discuss”. Instead of giving advice to somebody new to how Washington worked, he took notes hoping for a gottcha. What a creep.
