A bipartisan group of powerful senators is asking the man believed to have helped ex-FBI Director James Comey leak his infamous let this go memo to the media to produce that memo for them. Senators Chuck Grassley (R-IA), Diane Feinstein (D-CA), Lindsey Graham (R-SC), and Sheldon Whitehouse (D-DE) the chairs and ranking Democrats of the Senate Judiciary Committee and its National Security Subcommittee sent a letter Thursday to Columbia Law Professor Daniel Richman demanding he provide them with the original memo he supposedly leaked to CNN on Comeys say-so.

I will be surprised if he ever gets to spend his book money comfortably.
Just for the record....Sheldon Whitehouse is not a Senator from Delaware, but from Rhode Island, that other three or four county area that masquerades as a state.
A couple of weeks ago, everybody was posting Comedy. Now autocorrect has learned not to make that mistake.
Don’t “ask”, subpoena duces tecum.
From the written statement introduced at the Senate hearing: "I felt compelled to document my first conversation with the President-Elect in a memo. To ensure accuracy, I began to type it on a laptop in an FBI vehicle outside Trump Tower the moment I walked out of the meeting. Creating written records immediately after one-on-one conversations with Mr. Trump was my practice from that point forward." While he only spoke of the first memo, Mr. Comey seems to be a very formal (anal retentive) person and a written memo would not seem to be his style.
If that laptop was an FBI issued laptop, then Comey committed a felony when he gave that memo to his butt buddy.
Every word typed on an FBI issued laptop belongs to the FBI and not the typist.
And if he printed it and then took it with him after he was fired, he committed a theft of government property.
And this idiot was the director of the FBI.
Bingo!!! Also, if that laptop was in his physical possession at the time he was fired and he did not return it intact, he has more problems. The same applies if he printed anything from that laptop after his dismissal. The real difference between this issue and those of the last eight years is control of the Justice Department. Congress can talk, but the Justice Department can either protect you or crush you, often based on the same set of facts.
Thanks for the update.
There are so many dirty DemonRats.
