Former GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney revealed Friday that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton encouraged him to think about being President Trump's secretary of State.
Romney, who is also the former governor of Massachusetts, made the comments at his annual political summit in Park City, Utah.
While he was a vocal Trump critic during the presidential campaign, Romney was under consideration to be Trump’s secretary of State before Trump picked Rex Tillerson, who was then serving as CEO of Exxon Mobil Corp. Romney said he would have been willing to serve as the country’s top diplomat if Trump offered him the job.
“If I could have helped shape foreign policy to protect the country I love, I would have been more than willing to do so,” Romney wrote in a letter to The Salt Lake Tribune in December.
Is this man a tried and true Muslim? He certainly sounds as though he’s taken his first steps. “The country I love”...only until he gets what he wants; after which he’d sell us like a sack of potatoes!

That whole thing with the “romney for sos” was to play him. He was never seriously in the running and everyone seems to realize it but him—how vain and shallow
I think it was “catnip” Trump was feeding the RINO Establishment contingency to entertain visuals of himself with Romney, as if he were seriously considering this beta boy for anything.
It was a courtesy call, an olive branch to the nasty Paul Ryan/Mitch McConnell gaggle of players, throwing these cut throats a bone.
Trump like the rest of America discovered Romney was about as deep as a piece of paper and had to be shaped daily by wifey Annie, to even function. They were never remotely in tune with Republicans or conservatives. They were socially depraved, loved gays and birth control, live and let die, and wanted these anathemas to the Christian faith imposed on the Catholic Church, in MA, in a cram down their throat and jackboot style.

I applaud the man for his judgement in picking some really terrific people. Everybody has some baggage but he has done very well so far. I hope the Middle East proposals worj out. That was one heckuva first trip. That groundwork would not have been possible without Tillerson. And we never would have seen a sword dance with Mittens. But the President conducted his interviews and his own listening tour. Thank God for that.

I see Hillary’s endorsement of a position in the Trump white house as a conundrum.
Does she want a good man there or to insure a big of a failure as possible? I think the latter is much more plausible.

Both times I loved Wyoming, and; SLC made NYC hustlers look like saints. I flew out of SLC early both times as opposed to being around Mormons, Moonies and every weirdo known to man in SLC. It looked like 68-72 only much worse. What a DUMP of human waste.
Yeah. Even Hillary could se what a disaster THAT would be. But then, I imagine that was her point.
