A nursery worker was beaten up and stabbed by three women as she walked to work in east London this morning.
The woman, aged in her 30s, was walking from Wanstead station to Little Diamonds nursery on Hermon Hill when the attackers came up behind her at just after 9.30am on Wednesday.
They shoved her to the ground before punching and kicking her during the terrifying attack.
Karrien Stevens, who runs Little Diamonds nursery on Hermon Hill where the victim works, told the Standard the three attackers were “chanting the Koran”.

Ms. Stevens was not there, so she does not actually "know" this information.

Same as above: she was not there. Would her employee recognize phrases from the Koran? In Arabic, Urdu, or Punjabi? I wonder if the employee is also Pakistani, which could make it a family matter.
The nursery manager added the attack had "nothing to do with the nursery".
How does she know? She wasn't there, doesn't know who the attackers were, presumably doesn't understand the reported language of the reported attackers.

Imagine if the article was about a “homophobic” incident in which the daycare worker was attacked from behind by three white men in MAGA caps who used crude language about lesbians and quoted the Bible. Wouldn’t we be looking a little more closely, at least sufficiently to notice that statements of both fact and interpretation have been made by a non-witness?

It sounds as though the girls were chanting in some Arabic language as they punched, clubbed and sliced at the Nursery worker.

I just wondered why you seem very skeptical of the story, given that Britain has indeed been under attack from radical Islam very recently.
