A Georgia man shot and killed his daughter’s boyfriend after the boyfriend shot her in the back, authorities said.
About 4:30 a.m. Sunday, investigators responded to a home in the 3400 block of Jet-Wright Road, Hall County sheriff’s Lt. Scott Ware said.
According to the preliminary investigation, the boyfriend, identified as 25-year-old Thomas McNutly, shot his girlfriend after an argument at the home.

True story. For a while in High School I dated the Sheriff’s daughter. She was as pretty as could be. The first time I went to pick her up for a date he was sitting by the front door cleaning his big Smith and Wesson. No kidding. Didn’t even comment on it, just said, “Have her back by 10:00.”

A distant swamp with gators now... Several members of my mother's family are buried on Saint Simon's Island which isn't all that far from I-95 or the Florida border.One year we went there on our way to Florida.Pretty impressive country....seems to be one huge swamp.
