If nobody should say anything on top of the finished work of Christ, there should have been no Christian books published after the conclusion of the Fourth Gospel. And this Religion Forum should fold, and we all just keep our mouths shut.

I know that’s not what you mean; nor am I putting words in your mouth. But that would be an unavoidable consequence of insisting that no one need say anything now, since Christ’s work is finished.

Mary’s words, in any case, are not divinely revealed doctrine. They are private revelation which does not demand the assent of faith. Any interpretation or implication that Mary replaces Jesus is obviously false.

Agreed, and no supernatural apparition that claims to be “the only way to God” or whatever, cannot be of God.

...do you believe the words of modern-day apparitions (in the last hundred years or so) of Mary are from the real Mary, mother of Jesus?

Mary’s words, in any case, are not divinely revealed doctrine.

And yet you admit to 'believing' them.

May I ask WHY?
