Are these states going to pay billions into the UN climate fund for distribution to the Third World?

That's the only part these globalist thieves care about. Without the money, none of them would give a damn.

I meant, California, New York and whoever else will not follow that part of the Paris Accord.

I suspect they intend to try to pass state regulations...Governors of other states should call for businesses to relocate..

They won't have to. It's already true that corporations choose states that are friendly to business. Businesses are already leaving CA in droves for states that are less hostile. In NYS, I wonder how this attitude will play outside of metro NYC.

Add this to sanctuary cities that will be flooded with criminal invaders. Hmmm....maybe they should think about what happened to once-terrific CT that's been running on stupid for about 20 years.

Connecticut Gov. Dan Malloy

Last I checked CT has a 2.3 Billion dollar defect, lost GE last year and Aetna is this year. They paid to train a new class of state Police recruits, then fired them all before graduation. Dan Malloy is a idiot who was expecting a comfy post when Hillary won, and though he wouldn't have to fix the mess he created. Now he is doubling down on stupid.

Our Marxist Governor Inslee was planning a $25/metric ton carbon tax beginning in 2018 to help pay for the state’s education system. The carbon tax rate would increase annually by 3.5%, plus inflation, and is estimated to generate $1.9 billion in its first year and $2 billion in its second.

The tax would apply to both sellers and users of fossil fuels, and would be levied on the “first possession,” meaning that it would be imposed on any company that generates or imports electricity, natural gas or petroleum. The plan would exempt power generated by TransAlta’s facility in Chehalis, however, which is exempt pending its shutdown.

All this concern over Washington State’s carbon emissions. The trouble is, Washington State’s carbon emissions are the lowest in the United States. Because the generation of electricity causes highest emission of carbon, Washington State has an advantage. 70.7% of Washington’s energy production is from hydroelectric power which produces no carbon emissions. 10.7% is from natural gas, a low carbon emitter. 7.1% is from coal, 6.3% is from nuclear, 3.4% is from wind and 1.2% if from wood and wood derivative products.

So, Inslee is not getting his carbon taxes from our energy producers. Where is he getting it? From our transportation fuels. Washington State already has the second highest gas tax in the nation at 62.9 cents per gallon. When Washington State citizens realize that Inslee is going after their cost of gasoline, there will be will be pitchforks and torches at the Governor’s mansion.

The wisdom of the founding fathers is amazing. Were it not for the Electoral College, high-density pockets of insanity would turn the US into Venezuela.

Yes, the FFs were amazing, but even they didn’t/couldn’t imagine just how stupid, lacking in morals, and common sense so many of the present populace is.

All that was required from the USA was money; NY, CA and DC have none to spare.

Do they have the authority to tax us and give our tax money to foreign governments without our consent?

"...The wisdom of the Founding Fathers is amazing..."

Absolutely agree. A thin sliver of perhaps 100 miles from the coasts inland would otherwise run the ENTIRE country.

Jerry Brown is a raving lunatic. It is becoming evident that this crap won’t end until federal police perpwalk a few governors out of their offices handcuffs.

Well, the Communist Manifesto appeared a few decades after they were all gone. But I would say a few of them saw what was to come in the French Revolution.

Ummm...your math is a bit off ( okay, more than a bit ), but yes, the French Revolution was an object lesson. Still and all, that was AFTER the FFs had come up with the Constitution, etc.!

What they never took into consideration ( and why would they? ), was the "peaceful" INVASION of this nation, by the ravening horde of undesirables, who want to take over this nation and bring it back in time, by many hundreds of years.

Just for one example, Thomas Jefferson died in 1826, and the Manifesto came out in 1848, which is 22 years. So my math was not too far off, insofar as being an estimate.

And frankly, Jefferson saw what he called “the leaven of the old mass … assimilat(ing) to itself the new” with respect to the Supreme Court starting to assert itself in terms of legislating from the bench, and that in 1819.

Insane is not fixing dams that threaten the lives of your tax base that you all ready borrowed money at high interest rates for years ago, while trying to borrow more money to make a commuter train to link two cities a six hour drive in distance apart that because of the distance has zero commuters.

Jerry, we know what insane looks like and so would you if you had the guts to look at yourself in the mirror you soulless bass turd.
