Illinois (my state) is totally controlled by Democrats and has been for decades. Chicago Democrats run Illinois. Illinois SHOULD lose every penny of Federal funds. Democrat bosses are all for automatic registration as it expands the universe of fraudulent ballots they can cast. They don’t want the voters to actually show up to vote, however, unless they can guarantee they’ll vote Dem. They prefer that voters don’t show up so that Democrat officials can cast those ghost ballots themselves. The unmotivated but registered person is the ideal Democrat as far as the party bosses are concerned.

What little peon Democrats don’t realize is that by supporting their party bosses on this point, all they are doing is ceding their own power away to some crooks who, once they have these guaranteed ghost ballots, will be less dependent on real voters to stay in office.
