This week the Trump administration managed to impose a massive tax increase on middle-income families beginning in 2018. You could be excused for missing this story if you were focusing instead on President Trumps draconian budget or Republican efforts to take away health care from tens of millions of people. But, indeed, on Monday, the Trump Health Care Tax was born.

His big thing during the campaign was building The Wall. Yes, he wants to replace the Unaffordable Care Act, but it's not his centerpiece.
So what is his main point? Unless one subscribes to the Compost, you can’t tell for certain what the specific assertion is.
Haven't read that word in a while. A rat favorite.
Read wasted years’s summary and don’t click on the story.
No Click Bait for fake news by the Compost, NY Slimes and ???!!
I don’t give a ####.
It was WAY up there and it’s in the senate now.
You make it sound like he can only do one thing.
He’s done lots and its’ been very good.
Why post #### from the wapo anyway?
The author and Obama Buddy
It’s already worked its way through Congress and signed by the President?
Fake news
If the reporters hadn’t skipped civic class, they would know that this is not law until it passes the senate and is signed by the POTUS.
Until then, no new tax had been imposed.
Another crap from the garbage dump.
This is a lie. Aetna, United Health Group, Humana, and others have pulled coverage out of dozens of states. Furthemore, premiums have been reported to have gone up 30 to 50% which pushed many people out of coverage altogether.
We all that they won't dare report that. They also won't report the millions of people that have had a reduction/total loss in insurance.
The writer of this hit piece must have learned his trade by reading Hitler’s propaganda pieces. Full of dripping sarcasm based on fake facts.
I don’t subscribe and I could read the article just fine.
(But it is a waste of time. Pure unadulterated bullshit.)
Not interested in clicking on the article. FWIW, this “Cruzbot” is willing to trust Trump. If the news media wants me to believe something bad, they will darn well need to PROVE it - and even then, I’d be on Trump’s side.
Maybe I should start a club: “Cruzbots for Trump”...
So it really isn't a tax increase. It is discontinuing a subsidy. A subsidy paid to large corporations.
If a Republican had instituted this subsidy it would be called "corporate welfare" and despised by Dems.

So Trump’s refusal to continue the subsidization of the Pharmasurance syndicate is a “tax increase”.
Yeah right.
Meanwhile nothing in the article criticizing (or even observing) the predatory symbiosis the syndicate thrives upon to begin with.
Mooooove along, nothing to see there little cashcow/dogies!

Editorials belong on the editorial page.
I remember taking journalism many years ago and one was taught to avoid adjectives/adverbs as much as possible. They were to be used with deliberate care, with the thought of “objectivity” and “balance” in mind. This is a hybrid “hard (fake) news” and editorial.
