"Sessions is just fine".

I agree that Sessions is a fine man...a conservative and a patriot.

However, reality is that he's tied his own hands with his self-imposed, too-broadly-drawn recusal....and he has no free voice on the current important and politically-lethal legal issues any more, especially those concerning our President.

The Justice Department right now is like Washington Irving's Headless Horseman, galloping around on a steed in today's swirling maelstroms, but with little-to-no authorative voice speaking from the missing top of the body astride the steed.

No, it’s not. And he had to recuse because of Russia connections. No need to panic. Sessions is right where he needs to be.

Without knocking Sessions, DAG Rosenstein is more of a bulldog by far than Sessions. Rosenstein’s problem may be that he stays away from stuff where he’s not invited.
