Republican Greg Gianforte muscled his way to victory in Montana, overcoming a challenge from Democrat Rob Quist and an election-eve scuffle with a reporter that led to criminal charges being filed against him.
With 83 percent of the precincts counted, Mr. Gianforte led Mr. Quist by a 50.3 percent to 43.9 percent margin. Libertarian Mark Wicks had 5.8 percent of the vote.
Undefeated in this years special congressional races after the election of President Trump, Republicans will now hold a 239-193 majority in the House.
During the campaign, Mr. Gianforte embraced Mr. Trump, who won the state by more than 20 percentage points in the November election.

IMO, 56 is barely into adulthood. :)
Yes, and unless I missed something, there is no video of the alleged assault. All we have is the “journalist’s” audio recording. Very similar to the story from the female “reporter” (Name escapes me right now — Michele something, I think.) who claimed to have been forced to the ground by Trump’s campaign manager Corey? ?, at a campaign rally.
These people make me sick.
The leftist media (including Fox) was pushing the dem as a repudiation of Trump. I guess they got body slammed.

Yeah, notice there is no video evidence. I am betting the “reporter” is a liar and purposely fell to the floor. Like the lying female “reporter” who claimed Trump’s campaign manager man-handled her.
....Quist is a NUDIST cowboy and so is his DAUGHTER...
If this were the case of any Conservative office seeker, it would be on page one of the Post and Times, and the lead story on the rest of the MSM up to the election.
There would be photographs of each with appropriately placed pixelated areas with snarky news headlines.
AS IT SHOULD BE!!! WhAT CREEPS!!!
“Mind your language please; there are ladies present”
My aplogies.
Thank you.
Have they started calling him a fascist and rioting yet?
You are dear. 56 is truly young. :)
:)
I would have preferred to see somebody man enough to serve his nation in uniform, of whatever age or sex. Gianforte is replacing a much better man. Then again, he’ll be a good match with Testor, who was also too good to serve in uniform...as was his dad and his son. It’s the ‘too good to serve’ trifecta I assume.
