USAA, an insurance, bank and financial services company that caters to active duty military, veterans and their families, is getting slammed by members after announcing on Twitter Wednesday night the company was withdrawing advertising on the Sean Hannity show in response to pressure from liberal activists trying to silence Hannity by cutting off his advertising base. It was not stated by USAA if they advertised on Hannitys Fox News Channel show or his nationally syndicated radio show.
Hannity is a strong supporter of the military and veterans. He has a strong fan base among the military community.
The effort to drive Hannity off the air was promoted by Democratic Party front group Media Matters which posted a list of Hannitys advertisers this week for liberals to complain to after Hannity pursued the unsolved 2016 murder of Democratic Party activist Seth Rich in Washington, D.C. and possible connections to Wikileaks.

You clearly aren’t a member. It will be more effective to start there imo.
That said, financial accounts can be moved easily... insurance products less so. So I’ll start with expressing disappointment and dissatisfaction. I’ll move then to changing providers for financial products and lastly to be nsurance products.
Why you want to poo poo my process is curious.
I looked into USAA, and found they were more expensive than SF.
Thanks for that info. It makes a far more effective threat when specifics are provided.
Here’s the thing...I went through three different companies from 2008 to 2013, and found they were either incompetent or lacked any customer-care capabilities. “Losers” would be a good term to use for them (Prudential, Schwab, and Fidelity). I did a fair amount of research and found USAA one of the few that everyone seemed to appreciate.
They aren’t my friend, and I really don’t care for some bank or insurance group to be my friend. I just want someone who can be relied upon to conduct business, as advertised, and not screw up. Faced with the losers out there...giving up on them because of this one fault would be a hard choice. I don’t regard Geico as a trusting organization (having messed around with them in the 1990s).
“non-profits” like USAA don’t need to be wasting our money advertising anywhere.
In USAA’s defense, they had no choice but to “water down their client base standards” for a lot of their financial services. They were originally set up as a limited-membership insurance company decades ago, but they couldn’t restrict the customer base for banking services — and maybe investment services, too. I’m pretty sure the law does not allow you to operate an FDIC-insured bank and restrict it to members of your organization.
USAA member since 1974. That can change if this decision stands. I’ll let them know today.
And who will pay my increase in premiums?
All good points. I am just glad I didn’t go there before this happened.
Understand that this group wraps themselves in the flag and for being aligned with the U.S. military.....more than likely just another flock of retired asshole officers preying upon young military who need a prescribed service....and the retired birds/majors fill the void they can profit by....for them to have such arrogance is reason enough to let them die a monetary death as this is their only concern anyway....speak with your wallet.
Funny, the Left has basically been unflappable, simply ignoring EVERY thing the Right has thrown at them except the Seth Rich murder. Things that make you go hmmmmmmm......
I'm predicting within the year this plaque will be defaced by Leftist goons when it comes to light Seth Rich was the conduit for the WikiLeaks emails. He'll have effectively flipped places with Comey and he'll be vilified by the Left.
USAA is OWNED by its members. Their Subscriber Savings Accounts (SSAs) are the company’s capital.
It is time for the OWNERS to dismiss the USAA Board of Directors, terminte CEO Stuart Parker, and the rest of the USAA Executive Council.
Clearly, all of them have forgotten “what it means to serve.”
This is the coming out party for USAA. They now join AARP as holsters for the shriveled Johnsons in the pants of George Soros and his band of merry [men?].
Once bent over, they can never recover. Sell your USAA investments, liquidate your USAA funds.
This will be a long ride. Slower than Macy’s but just as much fun if you are not invested.
“Im just curious: Have any of these advertisers ever cancelled ads on the libs stations that push the Trump/Russia hoax night after night after night?”
No, because we don’t collectively do anything about it. If we were organized the left couldn’t get away with anything. But as we praised the TEA party for being leaderless, the left uses that against us.
I’ve been on USAA insurance for more than 4 decades, on my own account about 35 years.
Hannity is done on Fox....it’s only a matter of time now.
With Ailes out, O’Reilly out, Hannity is the only one who remains and his time is short.
Fox has decided to go left. I for one don’t watch them any longer.
THe problem is Spectrum, Cox and the other providers won’t add a new channel on the right.
We used to kill communists....I think the time has come to restart that.

Flood these assholes today!! I just got off the phone with one of these guys. The effing smug bastard on the other end of the line said, “well, you are the first call that I have had today so I doubt that people are that upset.”
Call 210 531 8722. NOW!!
I can tolerate a lot of these companies caving because I don’t do business with them but USAA is a bridge too far, especially given the support that Hannity gives to our veterans.
Look folks, this site more than any other has vets and other connections to the military. Use your e-mail network TODAY and pass this along with encouragement to hammer USAA all damn day.
