CNN’s Fareed Zakaria on Monday praised President Trump's weekend speech in Saudi Arabia, saying former President Obama could have given it.
“It was nuanced. It was frankly the kind of speech that President Obama could have given. It had the kind of empathy and nuance that people look for," Zakaria said Monday on CNN, praising "both the symbolism and ... the substance."
“Because ultimately what you’re trying to do is convince these Muslim countries to in some way take on, battle, expel as President Trump said, the scourge of Islamic terrorism.”
Zakaria added that Trump’s remarks pleased Arab leaders by sounding “more resolutely anti-Iranian” than past presidents'.
“There’s no question people in the region, particularly the Arab dictators and Arab monarchs, like what they hear from Trump.”
Trump on Sunday implored Muslim nations to form a new coalition to defeat extremism.
“[Terrorists] do not worship God, they worship death,” he told leaders of more than 50 Muslim-majority nations. “A better future is only possible if your nations drive out the terrorists and drive out the extremists.”
Trump’s speech avoided the term “radical Islamic terrorism,” a phrase he often used during his 2016 election campaign.
The president, who repeatedly criticized Obama for avoiding the term, instead described a “crisis of Islamic extremism, and the Islamists and Islamic terror of all kinds."
Arabs are pretty stoic souls but the thought of Obama giving that speech would have them rolling the aisles laughing their asses off

Potus Trump gave a great speech.
Zakaria is a jerk. “Obama could have given this speech [but didn’t].” Then: “The speech will be welcomed by dictators and monarchs.” Trying to have it both ways.

It’s such a breathtaking fairy tale, Zakaria is beyond being a liar, beyond biased in saying it. He’s evil.
In Obama’s case “could” = No Bloody Way
Paraphrasing Christianne Amanpour on CNN today, she said there was absolutely no way Trump could achieve peace in the region, but if he did it would only be because of the work of presidents and diplomats before him who did all the heavy lifting. LOL!
So he can't do it but if he does she wants to give Obama and Kerry the credit!

So is Zakaria deaf? One of the major thrusts of Trump’s speech was to urge isolation of Iran - to form an alliance to counter Iran. Obama kept saying that Saudi Arabia and Iran should find a way to “share” the Middle East - to find a way to live together. Obama had a tilt toward Iran, which antagonized Saudi Arabia.
It would have been nearly impossible to read the teleprompter with him all bent over and his head pointed towards the king’s crotch like he was, though.
This nitwit is too stupid to realize that Obama couldn't even have shined Trump's shoes...on Sunday...in Times Square...at high noon...with pre-printed instructions.
