How Did Russiagate Start?

Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper appeared on This Week Sunday, and said some head-scratching things.

Clapper back in March told Meet the Press that when he issued a January 6th multiagency intelligence community assessment about Russian interference in the election, the report didn't include evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, essentially saying he hadn't been aware of any such evidence up through January 20th, his last day in office.

On Sunday, he said that didn't necessarily mean there was no such evidence, because sometimes he left it up to agency chiefs like former FBI Director James Comey to inform him about certain things.

"I left it to the judgment [of] Director Comey," Clapper said, "to decide whether, when and what to tell me about counterintelligence investigations."

Clapper said something similar when he testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee last Monday. In prepared remarks, he essentially said that there was nothing odd about his not being informed about the existence of an FBI counterintelligence investigation involving Donald Trump's campaign.

Speaking generally, Clapper seemed to imply that the Trump-Russia-collusion scandal, the thing colloquially known as #Russiagate all over the world now, may have originated in information gleaned by the intelligence community, who in turn may have tipped off the FBI.

The New York Times reported the Clintons' Russian connections thusly: "Cash Flowed to Clinton Foundation Amid Russian Uranium Deal."

Plus Bill Clinton pocketed $500,000 from a Moscow investment bank for a brief speech.

NOTE--The NYT and Washington Post never reported about Pravda's headline: “Russian Nuclear Energy Conquers the World.” Imagine if a Republican State Department approved such a deal?

More egregiously, Hillary's campaign chairman, the ubiquitous John Podesta, acting as "The Podesta Group" (co-founded w/ his brother, Tony) lobbied on behalf of Uranium one, after most of it was owned by Russia.

There's virtually no evidence to support claims of Trump's ties to Russia........but there is damning concrete evidence, in the form of documents, indicate that Hillary Clinton and John Podesta have some explaining to do when it comes to their ties to Russia.

Remember how Hillary Clinton used a fake story about a computer server at Trump Tower, which the Obama administration asked for a FISA court permission to wiretap, to brow beat then candidate Trump? You don't?

The story was bogus. Investigative reporter Jerome Corsi uncovered some documents from a Russian bank that show how a Russian billionaire with close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin paid huge financial payments to both John Podesta and the Clinton Foundation.

Jerome Corsi reports: The money trail hunt begins with a document Infowars has obtained from the Russian Central Bank “Registry of Significant Control,” known generally as the “RSC Registry.”

This document traces the ownership of Metcombank, a relatively small Russian-domiciled bank located in the Russian Ural Mountains, to ownership by Viktor Vekselberg, a Russian billionaire with close ties to Putin.

As we shall see this document provides evidence of the circuitous path the Russian government has been using since Hillary Clinton was secretary of state to make large financial payments to John Podesta and to the Clinton Foundation.

THE CLINTON FAMILY BUSINESS---There may be no Clinton Foundation office in Moscow or St. Petersburg, but it is not for lack of trying. Bill Clinton received half a million dollars in 2010 for a speech he gave in Moscow, paid by a Russian firm, Renaissance Capital, that has ties to Russian intelligence. The Clinton Foundation took money from Russian officials and oligarchs, including Victor Kekselberg, a Putin confidant.

The Foundation also received millions of dollars from Uranium One, which was sold to the Russian government in 2010, giving Russia control of 20% of the uranium deposits in the U.S. — the sale required approval from Hillary Clinton's State Department. What's more, at least some of these donations weren't disclosed.

How Did Russiagate Start?

Humiliated Hillary had to find a reason why she lost 2016.....so they came up with the Russians. At the time Hillary said, “They don’t like me.”

Hillary musta horse-whipped her 2016 campaign chair, John Podesta, into action. Podesta came charging out of the gate like Greased Lightning, galloping at breakneck speed, sweating it out, desperate to make Hillary look like a “victim.”

PODESTA: The more we learn about the Russian plot to sabotage Hillary Clinton’s campaign and elect Donald Trump, and the failure of the FBI to adequately respond, the more shocking it gets. The former acting director of the CIA has called the Russian cyberattack “the political equivalent of 9/11.” Just as after the real 9/11, we need a robust, independent investigation into what went wrong inside the government and how to better protect our country in the future.

As the former chair of the Clinton campaign and a direct target of Russian hacking, I understand just how serious this is.
