Ann Coulter was one of President Donald Trump's most outspoken supporters during the 2016 election, but so far she's been underwhelmed by his presidency.
On "Varney & Co." today, Coulter said that the American people elected Trump to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, enforce immigration laws, end NAFTA and end our role as the world's police.
"Unfortunately, we're not getting what we voted for," Coulter said.
She acknowledged, however, that much of the "vicious and violent" criticism of Trump is unfair.
"Both political parties for years and years have been pushing whatever Wall Street and the elites want. Trump was the only candidate who was going to put Americans first," Coulter said. "I just want him to get back to his campaign promises."
She said if he fails to do that, then the Democrats will destroy the Republicans in the 2018 midterms, and they "absolutely" will impeach him.
"The left-wing base is just obsessed with that, so Trump better keep his promises," Coulter said.
She noted that there's still plenty of time for Trump to get it together, but she's still waiting to see the "bull in a china shop" that he promised to be in Washington, D.C.

I generally like Ann. That said, with all that is going on, none of these “chattering class conservatives” really know deep down inside the WH what is really going on. I know she gets money for yapping and it helps her sell her books, I am just of the mind that we need a few weeks, perhaps a couple of months to see if Trump can line things out. Personally, I think he’s an amazing individual, and he’s certainly active in all four corners of the things that administrations should, but seldom do (even RR was not as effective a president as Trump appears to be). And being a politician is new to him. He’s probably more used to being involved with honest, ethical people in his business dealings instead of this pile of $hit that constitutes our “congress.” And the worst of it all are these craven “repubicans” who trying with all their might to “kill off Trump” so they can return to their normal, do nothing existences with all the trappings!

Well, bear in mind that even though The Donald only sleeps like 4 hours per night, there are still only 20 hours in a day.
When having to deal with North Korea, Iran, health care, budget, wall, and the thousands of swamp critters and media scumbags, there’s only so much TIME, and the fact that the media will blatantly refuse to report on any WH championing without chopping it up to make the President look bad, that makes it even more difficult and time-consuming to do.
That’s why I love The Twitter, because it’s an extremely efficient way to talk right to the people.
But a large part of championing Trump’s agenda is going to fall onto us and what WE do. We can’t just sit back and critique; we need to be out there convincing people as well.

The President's powers are limited. See, United States Constitution.
Many things that Trump wants to do require Congressional legislation (for example, changes in law, or making monetary appropriations); and/or cooperation (for example, Senate confirmation of certain appointees).
Don't blame Trump for the failings of Republicans in Congress.

She should be concentrating on Republican obstructionists and Democrat hypocrisy and FBI corruption.

Give it a rest for a month.
I remain baffled why Ryan is going through this Rube Goldberg like process in tying the AHCA to taxes when they could have just put a straight up tax cut bill on Trump’s desk the day he first took office.
I understand he was shooting for fundamental “tax reform” and is trying to get around the Byrd rule and all that but why tie yourself up in knots over whether a set of deep tax cuts that MIGHT sunset 10 years from now? Just take the win and fight that battle in 2027.
All signs point towards the Senate taking their sweet time on their version of health care and God knows if they ever forge a compromise with the House that can get through both chambers. It seems clear that if the President continues to argue that the health care bill must pass before they can cut taxes then he might get neither.
He’s been poorly served by Ryan and McConnell is useless.
Of course Ann Coulter is a conservative and an effective speaker and writer. That's why the left hates her and have for years trying to prevent her from speaking. The left would love to turn conservatives against her.
