A study by liberal Harvard has revealed that the overwhelming majority of coverage that the media is giving President Trump is negative, more so than any other previous Presidents.
Fox News Insider reported:
The Trump administration is setting a new standard for unfavorable press coverage of a president, according to a new study by professor of government and the press Thomas E. Patterson at the Harvard Kennedy School and Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy.
The study looked at cable news outlets CNN, CBS, Fox News and NBC, the Financial Times and BBC in the UK, and ARD in Germany, as well as print versions of The New York Times, Wall Street Journal and The Washington Post.
Coverage of Trump was almost constant, taking up up 41 percent of all coverage, three times as much as former presidents received.
Trump has slammed the media since the beginning of his campaign. Earlier this week he stated that no politician in history has been treated worse.
The sheer level of negative coverage gives weight to Trumps contention, one shared by his core constituency, that the media are hellbent on destroying his presidency, wrote Patterson.
On The Fox News Specialists, Bernard McGuirk said this overwhelmingly negative coverage of Trump is disgusting, but its not surprising.
Theyre rabid. Theyre shrill. Theyre in a feeding frenzy. Theyre unhinged, McGuirk said.
CNN has some amazing journalists, Eric Bolling acknowledged. But theyre coming in at 92, 93 percent [negative].
Well, DUH!!
