It seems that Jared Kushner is under investigation for his alleged ties to Russia.
Donald Trump's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, has reportedly been identified as a "person of interest" in the ongoing investigation into possible ties between Russia and Donald Trump's campaign. Yashar Ali, a contributor to New York magazine said on Twitter: "It's Jared Kushner. Have confirmed this with four people. I'm not speculating."
Whom was Kushner meeting with?
Kushner ... has acknowledged that he met with the head of a Russian development bank, Vnesheconombank, which has been under U.S. sanctions since July 2014. The president's son-in-law initially omitted contacts with foreign leaders from a national security questionnaire, though his lawyer has said publicly he submitted the form prematurely and informed the FBI soon after that he would provide an update.
Vnesheconombank handles development for the state, and in early 2015, a man purporting to be one of its New York-based employees was arrested and accused of being an unregistered spy.
Were Kushner's omissions accidental? There were so many of them, including several very recent meetings, making it hard to believe.
In seeking a top-secret government security clearance, Jared Kushner, President Donald Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser, failed to report dozens of contacts with foreign officials, according to a Thursday New York Times report.
The contacts included meetings with Russian ambassador Sergey Kislyak and the head of a Russian state-owned bank, Vnesheconombank, both of which took place in December.
I wonder why Kushner would not report those meetings!

“But I would not feel so all alone”... as Bob D. would say.
This is so silly . The media is reduced to their ‘you can’t prove a negative’ nasrrative.
meh. To be honest none of this seems all that damning.
The only competent assumption at this time is that if anyone in the msm is running their sump, they’re lying.
Doesn’t matter the topic or situation. If they’re speaking, they’re lying.
Hey Ed Straker, might you be a #NeverTrump?
Sure looks that way from the articles you’ve written.
Seems like it would be a hard decision for the Deep State Lefties and pseudo-right establishmentarians to make whether to bring down Kushner or not.
On the one hand he is a Trump Family Member, and thus ‘needs to be despised and destroyed’.
On the other hand, he and his wife have been able to talk Trump into decisions which align with the Deep State’s desires and against those peasants who elected him.
Jared is everything we don’t want in the White House.
The stinking press sure wish it was. Having Russian friends, business associates, or doing business with Russia is not unlawful, criminal, or immoral.
Getting kickbacks and money laundered like Hillary got as the Secretary of State for letting 20% of US Uranium ore go to foreign interests, or even if it was a domestic deal is what is criminal. Clinton's pay to play.
So they want to talk to him. Big deal.
It is damning in that somebody is leaking the results of a background investigation.
It is not a crime to correct an error on a document submitted, even under penalty of perjury. It becomes a crime when you knowingly conceal a fact.
And, security clearance forms are now electronic and as easy to use as anything else designed by government bureaucrats (think IRS forms and instructions for calculating depreciation allowances on business equipment).
THAT is a privacy act violation.
If the source is the NYT, rest assured it’s fake news.
I wouldn’t mind seeing Jared and Ivanka packing up and returning home to NYC.
Yes, but the only one who might do something about it would be Jeff Sessions who handcuffed himself from anything related to Russia. jmo
Sessions could do a lot of the “investigating” legwork on Hillary, and after he gathered much of the evidence, he passes it off to the handpicked special council. It’s that easy.
If it gets him out of the White House, things will only get better for Trump.
I agree, but he's family and Trump's #1 value is family. I don't think Trump would throw him under the bus, no matter what. And that could be a very bad thing.
They may try to block Mueller on kushner due to law firm. This is a mistake. It makes it look like he is hiding something. They can always appoint someone else to investigate. If anyone should be upset it should be dems thinking mueller would give kushner a pass.
I laughed at the tweet about kushner always being photographed as if the camera is zooming in on the real perp on law and order. Kushner does have some creepy photos
