BTW, his friend who appeared on PBS is a nut, too. Imagine saying that your six foot eight friend was trying to blend into the Oval Office blue drapes by wearing a blue suit! If you look at the photo, it’s clear Comey wasn’t trying to blend into anything. He was directly across from Trump, in his line of vision and could be seen by Helen Keller. It was such a bizarre thing to say.

He didn't agree to an open testimony, it is what he wanted .... WE agreed with him. IIRC, he was offered closed doors, but he wanted an open testimony. Worth watching and paying attention to.

The reason he wants open testimony is so that at any time, he can claim that information is "classified" and can't respond. In a closed session, the only congress people in the room would be people who have the clearance to hear classified information, and would have oversight authority over the FBI. He would have no place to hide in a closed session.

Comey wants to testify in public for an obvious reason. Revenge against the person that fired him. Comey supposedly took good notes. Trump is politically incorrect and a loose cannon. Put all that together and Comey could say semi-accurate things about Trump that allow dems to portray as bad even though they were innocent remarks.

Our only avenue is through the ballot box. Electing one man and expecting him to stand-up by himself is not going to do it. If they are successful, imagine what a powerful weapon Trump will be against the forces that be. Imagine Trump having a rally in the heart of the dem stronghold the night the senate votes for impeachment. It would be full to rafters and then some. Trump will not go quietly into the night.
