Brainerd High School is at the center of a social media storm set off by actor Scott Baio, the former “Happy Days” star and supporter of GOP President Donald Trump.
Baio tweeted and posted on Facebook a page from the school’s yearbook that was filled with criticism of Trump by students. What set him off was one comment by a student that read, “I would like to behead him. I do not like him.”
Baio tweeted the yearbook page on Friday morning, copying the president’s personal Twitter account as well as those of the FBI, presidential spokeswoman Kellyanne Conway and Fox News commentator Sean Hannity.
By early afternoon, commenters were flooding the Brainerd High School Facebook page with angry criticism.
One commenter said the student should be reported to Homeland Security and charged with terroristic threatening. Another asked, “This is Minnesota nice?”

If the student had written the same joke about Obama or Hillary it would have been published and defended.

Regardless of what high school kids like or don’t like to do, it is up to adult oversight to point out the error of their ways and make the correction, which in this case would be dis-allowing it to be in print. There is no excuse for this. t
It is horrible and yes m, as somebody said if this was said about Obama there would have been hell to pay: a trial, probably an arrest and the family would have been sued beyond reason by the ACLU !! tmThere is no excuse for this.

How it relates to this story is that these kids are hearing Trump hates them from people they look up to.

Along with destruction of property and physical assault, as long as it is part of a political “message” and one is a card carrying member of the DFL, I mean Communist Party. Where even in rural towns the abomination Rainbow Flag flies at local Lutheran churches.

Lots of people want the faulty types that reviewed the yearbook prior to print fired.
So do I, and then I want them INVESTIGATED. If my near-adult kid sent a threat to the president, I’d expect him to be investigated, but I’d also expect to get a few questions myself.
In this case, there is COMPLICITY here, since they didn’t stop the publication.

What can be seen by these comments is the power that we have ceded to the media and the teachers of today.
While most of us have been behaving, working and paying our taxes the left has been at work on their agenda of civil/social destruction.
