Senators Feinstein and Grassley just issued a statement that Comey briefed them and told them neither Trump or any member of his team were any part of their Russia investigation. The Senators were troubled, as was Trump, that considering the hysteria and false allegations against the President were so destructive with people even talking about impeachment, that Comey’s unwillingness to tell the nation the truth was deeply troubling. Grassley even tweeted out to Comey a request to please be transparent.

We know from Director James Comey’s own admission to congress that he intentionally withheld congressional notification of a counter-intelligence investigation that began in July of 2016. Within Comey’s March 20th testimony to explain why he intentionally avoided congressional oversight, he cited the recommendation of Bill Priestap, Asst. Director of Counter Intelligence.

What did the Republicans in Congress know about what Comey was doing/was a party to? If Trump was being set up for impeachment, then uniparty Republicans in Congress must’ve been standing by to grease the wheels.

Also, does this mean that the uniparty will be happy to deal with Pence? If so, why? I can’t believe they think they could pull off two consecutive impeachments. So what’s the plan for Pence?
