Issa is running scared. He won re-election by a tiny margin. The Democrats are gunning for his seat. He is making a big mistake. He will never win any Democrats to his side. Sounds like a repeat of the fake but accurate Valerie Plame deal. There was no crime involved because there was no law against putting her name in the paper. That didn’t stop them from demanding every week that somebody be frog marched off to jail. The whole thing was a farce and the weak wussy W just let it happen.

Actually they should do a commission, not because it will actually find anything, but because it won’t. That’s the way these kinds of things run, both sides have this pitbull ability to obsess on something stupid, and they will not be satisfied until somebody appoints a commission. Then 2 years later the commission quietly says “nothing actually interesting happened” and nobody actually cares because the world has moved on. Nothing makes an issue go away faster than a commission. Appoint one right away. because frankly I’m bored to tears with this crap.
