I agree it is petty and rude--if he likes two scoops and a different choice on the salad dressing, his luncheon guests should be offered the same without it being a big deal--a waiter to do a quick sweep of the table with the alternative. And it is an anecdote that feeds into the caricature of Trump. But of course not, not a scandal in any sense. Trump is tweeting out his frustrations again this morning. It was weird that the service did not offer people more than water while Trump got a soda.....sorry, but that does not seem real. The salad dressing, the guest got the handmade first class version. I doubt the White House chef would ever offer Thousand Island to anyone but the President who request it. As to 2 scoops of ice-cream for the president.....sorry, can you imagine offering 2 scoops on any desert to health conscience DC elite? No, that is never going to happen, they would be offended....
