Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer, D-N.Y., warns Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein that his reputation as an independent, apolitical actor is at risk unless he begins sharing details of the firing of former FBI director James Comey with lawmakers in the coming days.
Over the last three decades of your career at the Department of Justice, you have developed a reputation for integrity and impartiality, Schumer wrote to Rosenstein. That reputation, along with the personal and public commitments you made to me and other Senators that you would be an independent, apolitical actor as Deputy Attorney General, earned you broad bipartisan support in your confirmation vote. And that reputation is now imperiled by your participation in the abrupt dismissal of FBI Director Comey.
Schumer asks for answers by Monday to the questions, including whether its true that Comey had asked the Justice Department for more resources for the FBI investigation into Russian meddling in the U.S. elections; whether Rosenstein conveyed that request to the White House; whether he met with President Donald Trump on Monday and if he knew the subject of that meeting in advance; and details of the memo Rosenstein wrote for Trump to help justify removing Comey.

"Got it?"
Schumer is doing his damndest to outdo Maxine Waters for sheer stupidity....
Translation: We don’t care if the man is ethical, we will destroy him.
New Yorkers should be - but probably aren’t - embarrassed by the rantings of Schumer. Schumer has become a pathetic figure who is unfit for his job.
It is interesting when someone publicly corresponds a veiled threat.
Details of why Comey was fired were provided.
I guess what Schumer wants are alternate reality details that confirm Democrat conspiracy theories.
Charles Schumer just won’t let stupid go. But thats ok because:
Charles Schumer trades in child pornography and has even been personally responsible for producing it. Now, there is no proof of this allegation at this time. But given the seriousness of this charge, we the American people need to demand an immediate investigation. Moreover, at this point we can honestly say that Charles Schumer has produced no, none, ZERO evidence that he isn’t guilty of these crimes. Until such time as he does, he needs to step away from the Senate. Finally, his protestations of his innocence in my mind only increase suspicions and make him seem guiltier.
Come clean with the American People Mr. Scumer. It is for the good of the country.
So says the most vile of Demon Rats whom has no reputation to lose.
“Schumer is doing his damndest to outdo Maxine Waters for sheer stupidity....”
Well, help him out! Send him a can of shoe polish and a wig!
Crying chuckie schumer- the mean intelligence of the planet is imperiled with you walking around on it.
Schemer is a big Bully with his words, threatening
I just want to see something along the lines of President Trump thanking Schumer for keeping up the investigation and because of it the FBI was able to find links between the Clinton foundation, Russian uranium buyers and the transport of weapons from Benghazi to Syria.
And in the same breath Trump thanks the Times and Post for helping him choose Sheriff Clarke for FBI director.
All Schumer can do is attempt to throw turds into the punch bowl.
Clutch your pearls Chuckie.. there's MORE to come.
Hmm. What kind of noises would Schumer be making if Trump tried the same tactics?
DAG Rosenstein should roll that letter up like a scroll, tie it with a red ribbon attach a note telling Shummer to stick it up his a$$
Rod Rosenstein’s personal and financial dealings will stand up a lot better to careful scrutiny than Chuck Schumer’s.
“Mr. Rosenstein should appoint a Special Prosecutor.”- Schumer
1 hour later. “Mr. Rosenstein should not be the person that appoints a Special Prosecutor”. - Schumer
And what ha gonna do if he doesn’t respond to your questions Chuck..........cry?
:-) Now, you’re talking!
You have an apt user name.
